Trump Demands Answers

During an interview with Sean Hannity last night, President Trump made it clear that he is demanding answers and plans to hold the deep state accountable for spying on his campaign and smearing his presidency for the past two years.  Here's some of what the president said:

"When I said there could be somebody spying on my campaign, it went wild out there.  They couldn't believe I could say such a thing.  As it turned out, that was small potatoes compared to what went on. . .

"We're getting to the bottom of it.  This can never, ever happen to a president again. That was a disgrace and an embarrassment to our country. . . Fifty years, 100 years from now -- if someone tries the same thing, they have to know the penalty will be very, very great. . .

"You had dirty cops, you had people who are bad FBI folks. . . At the top, they were not clean, to put it mildly.  We can never allow these treasonous acts to happen to another president."

Trump also acknowledged that he would be authorizing the release of some classified information, such as the FISA warrant applications, to assist with the investigation.  "I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release," Trump said.

He wanted to do so much earlier, but his lawyers advised him to wait in order to avoid further accusations of obstruction while the Mueller probe was still ongoing.

Not surprisingly, the president had some tough words for his most vocal critics.  Referring to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Trump said:

"Schiff is a bad guy, he knew he was lying -- he's not a dummy. For a year and a half he would just leak and call up CNN and others. . .  He knew it was a lie. . . In one way, you could say it's a crime what he did -- he was making statements he knew were false.  He's a disgrace to our country."

The president raises a valid point here.

Perhaps U.S. Attorney John Huber or a second special counsel appointed to investigate this mess can put Adam Schiff under oath.  Let's see if he continues to insist that there is "direct evidence" and "plenty of evidence" of collusion and that it's all "in plain sight."

Today, the Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee unanimously demanded that Adam Schiff resign as chairman of the committee.

Referring to Obama CIA Director John Brennan, Trump said:

"I think Brennan's a sick person, I really do.  I believe there's something wrong with him, for him to come out of the CIA and act that way was so disrespectful to the country and to the CIA."

Brennan is now blaming his hysterical behavior on "bad information."  Really?  He was the director of the Central Intelligence Agency!  Exactly where did he get this "bad information"?  I think we all know the answer to that.

My friends, President Trump is right -- this must not happen ever again.  We MUST demand answers as to why the Obama CIA and FBI outsourced their intelligence responsibilities to the Clinton campaign and Fusion GPS.  Those responsible must be brought to justice.

Border At The Breaking Point

Yesterday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CPB) Commissioner Kevin K. McAleenan held a press conference to issue a dire warning.  Here's some of what he said:

"Two weeks ago, I briefed the media and testified in Congress that our immigration system was at the breaking point. That breaking point has arrived this week at our border.

"CBP is facing an unprecedented humanitarian and border security crisis all along our Southwest border. . .  On Monday, we saw the highest total of apprehensions and encounters in over a decade, with 4,000 migrants either apprehended or encountered at Ports of Entry in a single day. That was Monday.

"Yesterday, we broke the record again with 4,117. We are now on pace for over 100 thousand apprehensions and encounters with migrants in March."

Over 100,000 apprehensions in March.  Let that sink in for a moment, my friends.

When 100,000 people march across your border, that's an invasion.  Yes, it may be largely peaceful.  But we clearly have very little control over our border.  Worse, we have no way of knowing who all of these people are.

At this rate, more than 1.5 million illegal immigrants will enter the United States this year.

As you know, President Trump has done just about everything he can to stop illegal immigration.  But open borders politicians and left-wing judges have blocked him at every turn.

Commissioner McAleenan made it clear in his remarks that ludicrous court rulings and inaction by Congress created this crisis, and that lives are increasingly at risk.

The president is obviously frustrated by this crisis.  This morning he tweeted:

"Mexico is doing NOTHING to help stop the flow of illegal immigrants to our Country. They are all talk and no action. Likewise, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador have taken our money for years, and do Nothing. . .  May close the Southern Border!"

Just last week, the front page of the Washington Post warned about the border crisis and how liberal politicians risked being blamed for it, and they should be.

Because in the face of this obvious crisis, House progressives on Tuesday attempted yet again to overturn President Trump's emergency declaration at the border.

And today they are wasting time on transgenderism in the military.
