The Kirk Effect
After Charlie Kirk’s brutal assassination, his widow, Erika, pointed out that conservatives did not riot, loot businesses, and destroy private property. It was the exact opposite of what happened five years ago after a drug addict and petty criminal died in a confrontation with Minneapolis police. Radical leftists used George Floyd’s death as an excuse to loot and riot in our major cities.
But something did happen after Charlie Kirk’s murder, and we just got more evidence of it. Bible sales this September were 36% higher than in September 2024. So, a conservative leader is murdered, and conservatives try to get closer to God.
Many churches are growing in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination because more young people are following his call and going to church. But a thought hit me like a thunderbolt.
I know there were young people in northern Virginia who followed Charlie Kirk. After he was killed, they thought to themselves, “I need to go to church.” Well, they’d better be very discerning.
What is a young man or woman going to think after having seen Charlie Kirk confront an LGBTQ activist with the Gospel Truth and now seeing some churches flying “gay pride” flags?
To the leaders of churches experiencing a surge in youth attendance inspired by Charlie Kirk: Do not fail these young Americans.
Do not give them watered-down Christianity. That is not what led them to you. They were led to you by Charlie Kirk’s bold witness and presentation of the unvarnished Gospel to lost students on our college campuses.
Do not lose them again through weak and lukewarm teaching. Be as bold as Charlie Kirk and other martyrs of the faith.
Democrats Against Democracy
A major theme of the No Kings protests was “Save our democracy.” This theme is being cynically pushed by people who despise democracy. It’s laughable that leftists are claiming they are “defenders of democracy.” The Left constantly undermines democracy.
When they tried to prop up sleepwalking Joe Biden to win one more election, they used every trick possible to prevent anyone from successfully challenging him in the primaries. They rigged the primary rules, changed election dates, and blocked candidates from getting on the ballot.
When they realized they couldn’t prop up Sleepy Joe, they orchestrated a coup, deposed the sitting president, and disenfranchised millions of Democrat primary voters. Then, they coronated Kamala Harris without an open process and without her winning a single primary vote.
And don’t forget everything they did to Donald Trump.
They turned the intelligence and law enforcement powers of the government against him, trying to prevent his election in 2016 and then to destroy his first administration. They tried to cancel the 2024 elections by kicking him off the ballot—a move so radical that even the Supreme Court’s three liberal justices rejected it.
They tried repeatedly to put him in jail with multiple malicious prosecutions. All the while, they created an atmosphere where unhinged leftists are trying to kill him.
Anyone who truly cares about democracy wants to make sure there is no cheating and that our elections are secure. But everything Democrats are doing is designed to make cheating easier.
They fight commonsense measures, including voter ID and cleaning up voter rolls. They fight efforts to prevent illegal aliens from voting. They even condemn these popular ideas as “racist attempts to stop minorities from voting.” They push for all mail-in elections, even though we know mail-in ballots are a huge fraud risk.
Democrats are furious with democracy right now. In spite of all the lawfare and all their anti-democratic efforts, the American people re-elected Donald Trump to secure the border and get illegal immigration under control. But Democrats are fighting the election result every single day, and they are using rhetoric that is going to get immigration police killed.
Promises Kept
The Trump administration has arrested and deported more than 515,000 illegal aliens, and 70% of them are criminal aliens. Promises made, promises kept.
You’re welcome, Gov. Newsom. You’re welcome, Gov. Pritzker. President Trump is making your states safer and saving the lives of American citizens by doing the job you refuse to do.
Newsom and Pritzker often run to microphones to accuse the president of “picking up people off the street just because they’re brown.” Well, 70% of the people picked up have criminal records. That is why they are being arrested and deported.
America Betrayed
The Wall Street Journal has a disturbing report on how communist China came to dominate the market for essential rare earth minerals. The Journal writes, “Its dominance was decades in the making,” going all the way back to the 1990s.
Think about who was president over that time. George H.W. Bush for one term. Bill Clinton for two terms. George W. Bush for two terms. I remind you again that “W” was furious with me because I went after him in the 2000 presidential primaries for being committed to giving communist China most favorable nation trade status. Bush was followed by Barack Obama for two terms.
Then, we had Donald Trump’s first term, one term of Joe Biden, and another Trump term. President Trump started to address trade issues with communist China, including rare earths, in his first term. But Biden went in the wrong direction, and now Trump is trying to fix this crisis.
Think about all those presidents—Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obama, and Biden. Did anyone brief them on the importance of these minerals? Did anyone from the defense industry or the Pentagon say, “We need an emergency meeting at the White House because the communist Chinese could cripple us”?
It doesn’t appear as though anyone did. And if those briefings and meetings did happen, no one listened. Over the years, our economy and our military became dependent on communist China.
This is a national scandal! We were betrayed by globalists. And people wonder why so many Americans have lost confidence in the government.
Don’t forget this was also coupled with massive American job losses. But the jobs that were lost belonged to people who don’t mingle with lobbyists and DC elites. They were just average Joes who don’t hang out at the country club.
Donald Trump is doing everything he can to secure America’s access to these critically important minerals. He is reshaping domestic policy, making national investments in American mining companies, and making deals with friendly nations.
We should all pray he succeeds.
Mamdani’s Imam
Zohran Mamdani recently shamed Andrew Cuomo for not visiting mosques more often. But what kind of mosques is Mamdani visiting?
Well, he recently paid a visit to Al-Taqwa Mosque and embraced its imam, Imam Siraj Wahhaj. The mosque was once under surveillance because several of the Islamic terrorists involved in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing attended his mosque.
Wahhaj served as a “character witness” for the “Blind Sheikh,” Omar Abdel Rahman, who was convicted as the mastermind of the 1993 plot.
With that background, it’s no surprise that Wahhaj hates America. He has called America “a garbage can,” adding, “It’s filthy and sick.”
He urged Muslims not to go into politics out of civic duty, but because “politics can be a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.” He said, “If only Muslims were clever politically, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate.” He also said, “It is an honor to die in jihad.”
By the way, radical Islamist and antisemite Linda Sarsour considers Wahhaj to be her “mentor.”
Wahhaj’s mosque has extensive ties to terrorism. A member of the mosque’s security team was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison for helping Al Qaeda target public transportation facilities in Arlington, Virginia. An assistant imam was accused of funneling $200,000 to terrorist organizations.
Last year, Wahhaj’s son and two daughters were convicted and sentenced to life in prison for terrorist activities, including running a terrorist training camp for kids in New Mexico.
Dalia Ziada, a Muslim scholar and fellow at the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, told Fox News:
“By embracing Wahhaj, Zohran Mamdani is . . . normalizing an extremist ideology that once inspired terror on American soil and still fuels radicalization within segments of the Muslim community today. . . And it tells the broader American public that those aspiring to lead this country have forgotten what extremist ideology once did to New York’s skyline.”
Grooming Kids & Mocking Women
Recently, Jimmy Kimmel brought a drag queen on his show to read a book to little children. Ha ha, very funny. NOT! Here’s why it’s not funny.
The reason drag queens always try to perform in front of children instead of people in nursing homes is because they know this has a “groomer effect” of teaching children that sex is a fluid construct.
Many women may not realize this, but drag is also extremely anti-woman. Drag queens, with their garish makeup and exaggerated female body features, are mocking women and making fun of them. It’s the equivalent of blackface.
Everyone understands it is totally inappropriate for a White person to paint their face dark black and dance around on stage. But for some reason, we have blinders on to the fact that men in drag are a mockery of women, just as Whites in blackface are a mockery of Blacks.
