Bad News
Today's dismal jobs report provided further proof that Bidenomics is crushing the economy. Experts had predicted that the Labor Department's monthly employment report would show 500,000 new jobs were created last month. Instead, we got less than half that -- just 194,000 new jobs.
This comes after August's shocking report when 720,000 new jobs were expected but only 235,000 were created. Even the past two months added together still failed to meet September's lowered expectations for new job growth.
While any positive job growth is better than nothing, it's clear that when it comes to the economy, Joe Biden is failing to meet expectations.
Biden's Epic Collapse
It's no secret that Joe Biden has desperately wanted to be president of the United States. He ran three times starting in 1988, and almost ran a fourth time. So, Biden had been running for president for 32 years before he finally made it to the Oval Office.
And in recent days, Biden has made history, but it's not good history.
When Biden took office, he had healthy approval ratings in the low 60s. But after just eight months, Biden has recorded one of the most dramatic decreases in support of any president in history. Some polls now show Biden's approval rating in the 30s, an emergency for any sitting president.
What makes this collapse even more remarkable is that 95% of the media are cheerleading for Biden and his agenda. But the public has its own ideas, and they're not buying the media's hype.
On specific issues, it gets worse. Only 11% of Americans strongly support what Biden is doing at the border. Four times as many -- 44% -- strongly oppose Biden's open border policies and the chaos he has created at the southern border.
Remember, Biden came into office saying he would unify the country, bring us together, restore America's standing around the world and he had a plan to "crush COVID."
Well, after the disastrous retreat from Afghanistan, France recalling its ambassador to Washington for the first time ever and more COVID deaths this year than last year, 55% of Americans now say Biden is not a competent president, and 54% of Americans believe the country is more divided now than before Biden took office.
The whole theme of Biden's presidency – Build Back Better – looks to most Americans like Knock Down Faster. Biden has knocked down every Trump-era security measure at the southern border. He actually paid $5 million a day to not build the wall!
He's ruined race relations by constantly race baiting and pushing critical race theory in our schools. Your paycheck is shrinking by nearly $200 a month because of Biden's inflation. Now he's trying to fire our frontline heroes – nurses, firefighters and police officers – who don't get vaccinated.
No wonder 65% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track.
Even in today's America, Biden's decline is unprecedented. As far as the public is concerned, it appears Joe Biden went in eight short months from the honeymoon to divorce court!
Communist China Threatens War
While I was speaking at the Pray Vote Stand Summit yesterday, a major story was breaking on exactly the subject I was talking about. The Wall Street Journal reported that U.S. Special Operations forces and a small contingent of Marines have been training Taiwan's defense forces "for at least a year."
Needless to say, Beijing went ballistic. The main Communist Party propaganda outlet issued an explicit threat against our soldiers, writing:
"Why secretly? The U.S. should send 240 servicemen publicly, in U.S. military uniform, and make public where they are stationed. See whether the [People's Liberation Army] will launch a targeted air strike to eliminate those U.S. invaders!"
This threat comes just days after communist China flew 150 military aircraft into Taiwan's air defense zone.
As I said during my remarks yesterday, losing a war against communist China won't be like losing Vietnam or Afghanistan. Every American, indeed every nation, will experience what it is like to have a communist country as the world's major superpower.
Unfortunately, what's going on in our schools today's, with the teaching of anti-American history and critical race theory, makes it more likely that we will lose such a war because we're teaching young Americans to hate the country of their birth. Who would be willing to fight and die for a "systemically racist nation" founded on genocide and slavery?
This is why taking back our schools is so imperative to making America great again!

McConnell's About Face
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell stunned conservative activists and even many of his own colleagues when he cleared the way for 11 GOP senators to help Democrats raise the debt ceiling just enough to cover government expenses until early December.
It looked to many conservatives as though McConnell caved to the left. President Trump expressed his frustration, and I'm certainly not happy about what happened last night.
But here's the back story you won't hear from the media: Apparently, McConnell believed that the intense pressure the left was putting on Manchin and Sinema was going to cause them to cave on preserving the filibuster.
If the filibuster was eroded and eliminated that would be a disaster. That would put the worst items on the left's agenda – amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, the Equality Act, the Women's Health (Abortion) Protection Act, H.R. 1 – back on the table. You name it, Biden would have free rein to do it with just 50 votes and Kamala Harris breaking ties in the Senate.
I don't know whether I totally buy that explanation. Manchin has been adamant that he will not undermine the filibuster, but that could be a slender reed to rely on.
What happened later on the Senate floor was very telling. Chuck Schumer and the Democrats got what they wanted in the short term. You would expect him to thank McConnell. Instead, Schumer attacked McConnell and the GOP for attempting to drive the country off the cliff.
Sen. Joe Manchin was sitting right behind Schumer as he was railing against Republicans, using the opportunity not to build bridges but to burn them. Manchin was clearly frustrated with Schumer's bitterness. Videos of Manchin shaking his head in disappointment, putting his head in his hands and eventually walking out have gone viral.

Dr. Francis Collins, who sent your tax dollars to communist China's Wuhan lab, announced his resignation this week as director of the National Institutes of Health. If only Dr. Fauci would follow his lead and resign too!
