Biden’s Priority
President Joe Biden went to Florida today to survey the wreckage of Hurricane Ian and to offer whatever assistance the federal government can provide in the wake of this emergency. According to the New York Times, “Mr. Biden has promised to put differences aside when he meets with Gov. Ron DeSantis.”
Nevertheless, it’s very telling that he didn’t head to Florida until after he held a White House conference on what he believes is the real emergency in America – the abortion emergency.
At the White House yesterday, Biden gathered with abortionists from around the country for a meeting of his “Task Force on Reproductive Healthcare Access.” He lamented that more pro-life laws were being passed in states across the country that will save more babies and reduce the number of abortions in America.
Biden seems to think that one million dead babies a year is progress. He thinks saving those babies is moving backwards. As usual, he’s got the direction of the country totally wrong.
We’re finally coming out of a “dark age” when we selfishly sacrificed our children, our future, on the altar of “choice.” Now, we’re heading into an enlightened age in which we are respecting the science, protecting human life under the law and welcoming all our children into the American family.
Biden is afraid that if America actually starts saving babies, we might rediscover the God who said, “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”
And who knows what might happen next. Maybe more young women will realize that they are defined more nobly by bringing life into the world rather than destroying innocent life. The left’s entire warped worldview might unravel!
Biden’s Chaotic World
Joe Biden, who is supposed to be a foreign policy expert, is presiding over a world in chaos.
The communist dictator of North Korea, who Donald Trump had under control, just fired a long-range missile over Japan, sending Japanese citizens scrambling for bomb shelters because they had no idea where the missile was headed. Its range was long enough to strike U.S. military bases on Guam.
Meanwhile, more and more serious people are warning that we have backed Vladimir Putin into a corner, and the chances that he uses tactical nuclear weapons are growing by the hour.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky, encouraged by the blank check the West has given him, is essentially demanding that Ukraine be immediately admitted into NATO, guaranteeing that we would be engaged in a major war with Russia. (And the left insisted that Trump would start World War III.)
But wait. . . There’s more!
CNN reports that the Biden White House is “panicking” because Saudi Arabia and Russia just engineered a massive cut in oil production. Gas prices, which have already started going up, could spike in the days ahead.
When Donald Trump was in office, our relationship with Saudi Arabia was the strongest it had ever been. The Saudis and other Middle East countries were aligning with Israel and the United States against Iran, and America was energy independent.
But as Biden has desperately tried to appease the ayatollah, we have driven the Saudis into the arms of the Russians.
Are You Better Off?
Forty-two years ago, during their one and only presidential debate, Ronald Reagan ended the Carter presidency when he posed a series of questions to the American people. Reagan asked Americans:
“Are you better off than you were four years ago? Is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores than it was four years ago? Is there more or less unemployment in the country than there was four years ago?
“Is America as respected throughout the world as it was? Do you feel that our security is as safe, that we're as strong as we were four years ago?”
As we think back just two years ago, I believe the answer to all those questions is a resounding “NO!”
Under Donald Trump, wages were rising. Under Joe Biden, they are falling.
Under Donald Trump, inflation was in check. Under Joe Biden, inflation is out of control.
As I just outlined above, the world is in chaos under Joe Biden, and we’re increasingly unsafe here at home.
Silencing Dissent
Two weeks ago, we told you about Matt Walsh’s investigation of “gender-affirming” procedures at a prestigious university hospital. Doctors appeared to be pushing the procedures because they were “huge money makers.” Walsh’s reporting followed on the heels of similar stories about other hospitals promoting these radical and irreversible interventions for children.
This week the left-wing establishment struck back.
Three major medical associations – the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) – sent a letter to the Justice Department Monday demanding that charges be filed against people who are criticizing doctors and hospitals for mutilating young boys and girls. They are also demanding that Big Tech take steps to censor any critical messaging on social media.
Sound familiar?
This is exactly what the National Association of School Boards did, which led to Merrick Garland ordering the FBI to investigate parents as “domestic terrorists.”
Any day now, Garland will presumably instruct the FBI to investigate journalists, concerned parents and taxpayers who are trying to protect children from these dangerous procedures.
When will we discover that the Biden White House coordinated with these medical groups to craft their letter, just as it coordinated with the NASB?
Once again, it is absolutely critical to understand what is happening here. The intolerant left is trying to stifle dissent. It wants to shut down free speech and it wants to criminalize political opposition.
This is particularly disgusting given the vicious rhetorical and physical attacks on crisis pregnancy centers that help women who choose life. But nobody is suggesting that criticism of crisis pregnancy centers be banned from social media or that their critics be prosecuted by the federal government.
My friends, we must defend our freedom from the intolerant, totalitarian left!
“Altered History”
Tony Bobulinski, one of Hunter Biden’s former business associates, was on Tucker Carlson’s show last night. He told Tucker that he was interviewed by multiple FBI agents days before the 2020 election. Over five hours of questioning, he told them all about the Biden family’s business dealings in communist China, Russia and Ukraine.
When the interview was over, the agents told Bobulinski that he would be contacted by Special Agent Timothy Thibault for a follow-up interview. Bobulinski told Carlson that the follow-up interview never happened.
Of course, we now know why. Thibault reportedly spiked the Hunter Biden laptop investigation, and, in Bobulinski’s words, “altered history” in the 2020 election.
Bobulinski told Carlson that during his FBI interview, his phone rang and James Biden, the president’s brother, was calling him. He showed the phone to the FBI agents and they walked out of the room so he could take the call in private. But the call was dropped and Bobulinksi never spoke to Biden.
Was it just a coincidence that James Biden called in the middle of Bobulinski’s FBI interview? Or was this just another sign that political hacks at the FBI were working for the Biden crime family and had tipped them off that Bobulinski was talking?
