Biden On Steroids
The left-wing media outlet Politico reports that Joe Biden has had an epiphany, and White House insiders are really excited because big changes are coming to the way he governs. (I hope you're sitting down for this.)
After working hard to achieve bipartisan consensus, Biden has evidently concluded that there is just no way congressional conservatives will ever cooperate with his far-left agenda.
So, he's changing tactics. He's going to ignore Congress and start issuing more executive orders, effectively putting his radical administration on steroids.
Wow! I know I have been really busy lately. I've been traveling a lot, and I may have missed the great bipartisanship period when Biden was reaching out to conservatives to find common ground.
I looked back and concluded there was a 12-minute period immediately following his inaugural address on the Capitol steps, when he talked about unity and bringing the country together, and the time it took him to travel to the White House where he immediately began issuing executive orders by the dozens on a host of left-wing priorities.
It was a nice 12-minutes of bipartisanship. I hope you enjoyed it. Evidently, there's no more "Mr. Nice Guy" in the Oval Office. (Not that there ever was.)
This is delusional!
Biden's approval ratings continue to crater because of his left-wing policies. You would think this might set off alarm bells at the White House, causing some to reconsider their far-left agenda and maybe reverse course.
But no. Joe Biden is doubling down on his radical agenda. And what he can't get through the liberal Congress controlled by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, he intends to force down our throats through executive orders.
Bad News For Biden
A recent Harvard/Harris poll explains very clearly that Biden's problem isn't the "ultra-MAGA" resistance to his agenda. The problem is his far-left agenda. For example:
- On the key issues – crime, the economy, foreign policy, inflation and immigration – Biden's approval ratings ranged from 41% to 35%.
- When it comes to major policies and how Biden is governing the country, large majorities of voters want major change.
- 69% say Biden should abandon left-wing progressive policies and move to the center. He won't.
- 65% say Biden should allow construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. He won't.
- 61% say Biden should "modify" his green energy policies and pursue energy independence through more domestic oil and natural gas production. He won't.
- By a 2-to-1 margin, voters blame Joe Biden, not Vladimir Putin, for high inflation.
- 67% of voters say illegal aliens caught crossing the border should be returned to Mexico rather than being released into the country with a court date.
- 80% of voters want to keep Title 42 enforcement in place, rather than repealing it as Biden wants to do.
- 59% of voters say Biden's immigration policies are effectively creating open borders.
The Replacement Theory Hoax
There's been a lot of talk in the past 48-hours about something called the "Great Replacement Theory." Joe Biden brought it up yesterday in Buffalo, and you're going to hear a lot more about it in the weeks ahead.
You can read more about the origins of the "Great Replacement Theory" here. The theory alleges that leftist elites are attempting to replace native-born Americans with Third World immigrants.
The left, including Biden, Schumer and Pelosi and their media allies, is accusing those of us who oppose hundreds of thousands of people crossing illegally into our country every month of being motivated by the "Great Replacement Theory."
After the Buffalo shooting, Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer fired off a letter to Fox News warning that multiple hosts were promoting a "white nationalist, far-right conspiracy theory," and should be taken off the air.
So, Chuck Schumer is blaming Fox News generally, and Tucker Carlson specifically, for the massacre in Buffalo, rather than the deranged killer. Carlson called Schumer's bluff and offered to have him appear on his hugely popular prime time show for a debate.
But Schumer declined, and that was very revealing. Once again, we see that the left is not interested in free and open debate. It simply wants to shut down any debate it doesn't like.
So, exactly what is it that Schumer doesn't want to talk about?
Well, Schumer's problem, as the Harvard/Harris poll above alluded to, is that the left's policy of open borders is extremely unpopular. And they don't want conservatives talking about it.
So, they're trying to shut down the debate by smearing anyone as a racist conspiracy theorist if they dare to point out that Biden and congressional liberals are failing to secure the southern border.
But here's the truly astonishing part: The left has been openly bragging about replacement theory for years! For the left, this isn't a replacement theory. It is a replacement goal.
- Here's Time Magazine back in 1990 on how the "browning of America" will change everything.
- The left fawned over the 2002 book by John Judis and Ruy Teixeira entitled "The Emerging Democratic Majority." Its central thesis, as the name implies, is that progressives were destined to rule the country as "white America is supplanted by multiracial, multiethnic America."
- In 2013, the left-wing Center for American Progress wrote that amnesty "for our nation's 11 million undocumented immigrants is the only way to maintain electoral strength in the future." [Emphasis added.]
And then there's this statement:
"Folks like me who are Caucasian of European descent -- for the first time in 2017 we'll be an absolute minority in the United States of America. . . Fewer than 50 percent of the people in America, from then and on, will be white European stock. That's not a bad thing."
That was then-Vice President Joe Biden in 2015.
So, the left is attacking conservatives for repeating what they have told us for several decades now. They believe our days are numbered because they control immigration policy and that's how they intend to "fundamentally transform" America.
That's not a racist theory. That's not a hoax. It's their strategy!
Don't fall for the left's latest attempt to gaslight you.
It also shows that progressives are the real racists in America. They are not only stoking racial divisions, but they believe that everything is determined by identity. How you vote is based on your skin color.
That's why Joe Biden told black voters that they weren't black if they didn't vote for him! It's incomprehensible to liberals that some minorities might be conservative.
Now here's the most important point: They're wrong!
There is nothing written in stone that guarantees the left control of the country. For example, Donald Trump carried some of the most Hispanic counties in southern Texas.
In addition, significant numbers of immigrants coming to America have fled authoritarian socialist states like Cuba, Venezuela and communist China. They see in the radical left exactly what they fled, and they're fighting for freedom here in America. That's why Florida went from a tossup state to one that even liberals concede is increasingly conservative.
Tuesday's Results
Once again, Donald Trump's influence proved decisive in the Republican Party.
Last year, the former president endorsed Rep. Ted Budd in the Republican Senate primary to replace retiring Sen. Richard Burr. Last night, Budd cruised to victory. He defeated former Governor Pat McCrory 58% to 26%.
Rep. Budd will face Democrat Cheri Beasley, the former chief justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court, in the general election.
In Pennsylvania, Trump's endorsed candidate for governor, State Sen. Doug Mastriano, prevailed. Virtually the entire party establishment was against him, but Mastriano won by 24-points over his closest rival. Mastriano will face Democrat Josh Shapiro, the current attorney general, in November.
The Pennsylvania Republican Senate primary is still undecided. At this point, Dr. Mehmet Oz is leading David McCormick by 31.3% to 31.2%. They are separated by roughly 2,000 votes, with tens of thousands of mail-in ballots yet to be counted. In addition, there is a reported printing glitching in Lancaster County that could delay the counting process for several days.
The eventual Republican nominee will face progressive John Fetterman in November. Fetterman, who just had a stroke, crushed moderate Democrat Conor Lamb 59% to 26%.
