Deep State Meddling
We got another reminder of just how close the election is. The Deep State held a press conference yesterday to rail against Russian hackers who were allegedly trying to influence the election by sending divisive messages to Americans, as if we need any help being divided on virtually every major issue.
Attorney General Merrick Garland said it was outrageous that foreign powers would try to influence our election. His boss has done exactly that in the Israeli elections and continues to do everything he can to bring Benjamin Netanyahu down. (See below.)
That’s not an authoritarian regime interfering in a democracy. That’s our government interfering in an ally’s democracy, undermining the only democracy in the Middle East.
The Russian hackers are accused of creating fake websites that tricked readers into thinking they were legitimate outlets. If “fake news” is a crime, the Justice Department should be investigating the left’s vast network of fake local news sites. I’m not holding my breath.
But as examples of what these fake sites were saying, they pointed to things like “inflation is high.” Our Justice Department said that’s “disinformation.” Another example of disinformation involved migrants committing crimes.
Don’t forget that in the last election, the Deep State told us Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian disinformation.” They lied! And they pressured social media companies to censor the truth!
Speaking of Hunter Biden, he knows his laptop is real. That’s why he abandoned the farce of his “not guilty” plea on charges of tax evasion in court today. That laptop was Exhibit A in the case to expose the Biden crime family’s corruption, and they didn’t want a messy trial making all the lurid details public.
Deep State officials said yesterday that our foreign adversaries’ primary goal is to undermine confidence in our democratic institutions and values, including working to influence and manipulate our elections. No one is disputing that.
But as columnist Mollie Hemingway pointed out, there are plenty of reasons to question our elections, none of which have anything to do with our foreign adversaries. She said:
“What’s particularly problematic, though, is our Department of Justice and FBI are the least credible people to talk about this, given the information operations they ran against the American people with their Russia collusion hoax, with their cover-up of the Hunter Biden laptop in which they lied about the situation and claimed that it was Russian disinformation and used that to censor American speech. . .
“There are consequences for those information-ops they ran against the American people. And we do need protection from some of these foreign governments meddling in our elections, but we also need protection from our Department of Justice, FBI, and other intelligence agencies who are doing the same.”
She’s absolutely right! Every politician who values freedom, regardless of party, should be at a microphone today saying the same thing!

DEI to DIE For
If you needed more evidence that the DC Swamp must be drained, here it is.
The same Secret Service that didn’t have enough money in its budget to provide adequate protection for Donald Trump and is so overworked that the Pentagon is having to help out, evidently has enough money in its budget and plenty of spare agents to send employees to Walt Disney World for LGBTQ+ DEI training.
While at the famous theme park, our Secret Service agents will attend the “Out & Equal Workplace Summit” and learn such things as:

- Shattering the Lavender Ceiling: Trans and Nonbinary Leadership Development
- Cultivating Your Personal Queer Power for Change
The Secret Service’s incompetence, negligence, and obsession with DEI nearly got Donald Trump killed!
This is an obscene waste of taxpayer resources! It’s also a perfect example of the left’s misplaced priorities.
Biden vs. Bibi
There are credible reports and rampant rumors all over Israel, which are being largely ignored by the American media, that Hamas has smuggled some of the hostages out of Gaza through an area Israel wants to secure along the Egyptian/Gaza border.
The nightmare reports suggest that some of the hostages may now be in the hands of Iran and/or Yemen. There is speculation that Iran will use the hostages as human shields at their nuclear weapons facilities.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the Biden administration is promising Iran all sorts of concessions if Iran can help get the American hostages only out of Gaza, which they believe will be a huge political win.
All of these rumors are troubling and worrisome.
Equally troubling is the fact the special relationship between Israel and the United States has hit rock bottom. As Israel fights radical Islamists hellbent on genocide, Joe Biden is absurdly blaming Prime Minister Netanyahu for the lack of progress in ceasefire talks.
Danny Danon, Israel’s UN ambassador, openly expressed his frustration with the White House, saying, “We expect our ally, the U.S., to say, very clearly, Hamas is to be blamed for the fact we don’t have a deal today.”
Bibi Netanyahu is furious, and rightly so. He reminded reporters about how many times Hamas has rejected ceasefire agreements, including one just last week. Netanyahu said:
“I want to ask you something: What has changed in the last five days? . . . One thing: These murderers executed six of our hostages. They shot them in the back of the head. That’s what’s changed.
“And now? After seeing this, we’re asked to show seriousness? We’re asked to make concessions? What message does this send to Hamas? It says: Kill more hostages, murder more hostages, you’ll get more concessions.”
It’s shocking to think that just a few years ago, the Middle East was relatively quiet, and Israel was signing peace agreements with its Arab neighbors. Now, we’re appeasing bloodthirsty terrorists at Israel’s expense.
Trump’s Town Hall
Donald Trump held a town hall last night with Sean Hannity in Pennsylvania. It was originally supposed to be a presidential debate, but Kamala Harris declined the invitation from Fox News. The audience was raucous and enthusiastic.
Trump, of course, talked about the economy, crime, and illegal immigration. But he also addressed matters of foreign policy and national security. Those issues are not getting nearly as much attention as they deserve, especially given the state of the world. Trump said:
“We have things going on in the world right now with Israel and with the Middle East. . . It’s blowing up. We have Ukraine and Russia. . . That would have never happened. October 7th would have never happened if I were the president. . . Iran was broke. They didn’t have the money for Hamas and for Hezbollah. . .
“The world is blowing up. . . We’re heading into World War III territory. . . with these clowns that you have in there now, you’re going to end up having World War III, and it’s going to be a war . . . like no other.”
Speaking of wars, Liz Cheney has endorsed Kamala Harris. When asked about that announcement, J.D. Vance held nothing back and blasted Cheney with both barrels, saying:
“This is a person [Cheney] whose entire career has been about sending other people’s children off to fight and die for her military conflicts and her ridiculous ideas that somehow, we’re going to turn Afghanistan, a country that doesn’t even have running water in a lot of places, into a thriving literal democracy. And, for that, Liz Cheney was willing to kill thousands of your children.”
