I told you recently about the news that the Department of War has ordered all U.S. military bases to be self-sufficient for a protracted period of time. A couple of European nations are giving similar directions to their civilian populations. I don’t know if what I am going to tell you next is related or part of a bigger picture.
You probably recall the mystery in recent years of what’s been labeled “directed energy attacks” on U.S. embassy personnel in several foreign countries. These attacks, often referred to as “Havana Syndrome,” caused serious, measurable neurological damage to their victims.
Catherine Herridge, a respected journalist, reporting on Katie Pavlich’s show just disclosed that there recently have been directed energy attacks in the Washington, D.C., area—not against diplomats but against the individuals trying to solve the mystery of who is behind these attacks.
Herridge says there are at least six individuals currently hospitalized at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center suffering from directed energy attacks. She speculated that a foreign “cell” is carrying out the attacks in the D.C. area.
Witnesses have said they saw two vehicles working in tandem before individuals out walking their dogs suddenly felt the effect of an electronic attack. In a couple of cases, their dogs started convulsing on the ground.
This is a troubling development. Herridge reports that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and the Pentagon have been aggressive in pursuing what is happening. She thinks it’s possible they may report before the end of the year exactly who is behind it. On the other hand, the CIA, according to Herridge, has essentially been worthless.
Obviously, with Carol, me and two-thirds of our family living in the D.C. area, I have a personal interest in this story. It’s also a good time to remember one of the most frequent commands in the Bible, which is “Fear not.”
But it’s also a reminder that we are not living in normal times. And yet half the country keeps telling us the only thing that’s wrong in America is Donald Trump. We’d better wake up soon.
Connect The Dots
There are “warning shots” happening all around us, and the leftist media are doing everything they can to avoid connecting the dots. I’ll start with a couple of horrible events I suspect you may not have heard about.
Last week, two radical Islamists in Hamas opened fire at an intersection in Judea, Israel. They killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded three other people before they were taken out by IDF soldiers. This terrorist attack was barely mentioned in the American media. They don’t want us to know about dead Jews.
The same day, Islamist warriors in Jordan, a relatively stable Middle Eastern country, invaded an Orthodox Christian church during a funeral. They opened fire and murdered eight people. Dozens more were wounded.
Also last week, jihadists attacked Christian communities in Ethiopia. At least 60 Christians were massacred. Again, barely a ripple of news here in the United States—just a bunch of dead Christians.
In France, riots are taking place and thousands of marchers are carrying the flags of Islamic countries, not the French flag.
Connect the dots, folks. These atrocities have one thing in common: Radical Islamists and Marxists are at war against Jews and Christians and our civilization. (See next item.)
Macron’s Madness & Denial
In the low-income Trappes suburb of Paris, a man drove around last week taking shots at people. He killed one person and wounded several others.
Police say he confessed to targeting his victims based on their race and assumed religion in revenge for the rioting and looting that has paralyzed much of the country. He is currently in a psychiatric unit for a mental health evaluation.
French media claimed the shooter had campaign flyers in his car promoting the conservative populist presidential candidate, Marine Le Pen. That report was completely false, but it didn’t stop socialist politicians from accusing Le Pen of having “blood on her hands.”
This alleged “anti-Islamic hate crime” got plenty of media coverage, including from the Wall Street Journal. But I was struck by French President Emmanual Macron’s response to the Trappes shootings. He said:
“It’s the first time that there’s a planned terror attack to kill our fellow countrymen, our children because of the color of their skin or the religion they’re thought to have. We must yield nothing to the ideas taking hold in the Republic that could justify this kind of behavior.”
The first time? Has Macron lost his mind?!
Radical Islamists murdered 130 people and wounded more than 300 in a series of planned terror attacks across Paris in November 2015. A year later, a jihadist drove a semi through a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice. He murdered 86 people, including 15 children.
A jihadist murdered four Jews in a kosher supermarket in Paris, and jihadists slit the throat of a priest in Normandy.
Were none of these atrocities planned terrorist attacks based on the victims’ race or religion? Of course, they were! Every Islamic terror attack is all about the race and religion of the victims!
But like most of Europe’s elites and many leftists in America, Macron is in denial. In their fevered minds, the real danger is “White Christian nationalists.”
Confronting Communist Cuba
UN Ambassador Michael Walz spoke at the United Nations yesterday about the corruption and human rights abuses of Cuba’s communist regime. Apparently, he struck a nerve because Cuba’s UN ambassador charged the podium where Walz was speaking.
“Back up! Back away,” Walz shouted. “This isn’t Havana. You’re not going to intimidate me.” Last night, Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed orders expelling the Cuban ambassador.
While President Trump, Secretary Rubio and Ambassador Walz have boldly denounced Cuba’s repressive communist regime, Florida’s Democrat socialist Senate candidate, Angie Nixon, just can’t do it.
She was asked this week whether Cuba was a dictatorship—an easy softball question. But Nixon said, “You know, that is what people have told me. I have never been to Cuba, and so I will have to take their word for it.”
I think it’s time we send this socialist to Cuba to learn for herself what living without toilet paper is like! Yet, a poll on the Senate race just came out, and it’s essentially tied.
