BREAKING NEWS
A synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan, was attacked this afternoon. A man rammed his truck into the synagogue’s doors and got out armed with a rifle. The attacker was shot and killed by an armed security guard.
Another security guard was hit and knocked unconscious when the suspect drove into the building. No other injuries have been reported.
Meanwhile, back in Washington, D.C., it’s Day 27 of the Schumer shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security. Senate Democrats today voted for the fourth time to block funding for the department.
Bondi’s Latest Move
Attorney General Pam Bondi has moved from her apartment to a Washington, D.C., military base due to repeated credible threats from multiple sources against her life. Threats from drug cartels spiked after the United States arrested Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.
The attorney general is not the only Trump administration official who has moved to military housing. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller have all moved to military bases because of violent threats from radical leftists.
Predictably, the New York Times doesn’t seem all that concerned about the safety and security of administration officials. Instead, the Times implies there is something untoward going on here, writing:
“But this appears to be the first administration to take such widespread advantage of taxpayer-funded military housing to accommodate political appointees who do not have a direct connection to the military.”
They are not “taking advantage” of anything. They are trying to protect their families and themselves from hateful, unhinged left-wing lunatics!
Not So Funny
Late-night comedians are having a field day with the conflict in Iran—at America’s expense. With America’s sons and daughters in harm’s way, 94% of the jokes from Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Seth Meyers, and Jimmy Fallon about the conflict have been mocking President Trump, the United States, and our allies.
Obviously, Iran is not going to conquer the United States. (Whether Islam will someday is an open question.) But, as we have pointed out many times, these goofball leftist comedians just think they’re so cute while they make millions of dollars undermining their own nation and giving solace indirectly to Iran.
If the mullahs of Iran were ever in control of the United States, those five would be the first ones up against the wall for a firing squad.
Meanwhile, one analysis finds that 10 out of 12, or 83%, of New York Times reports about the conflict with Iran are negative or pessimistic. When war broke out between Russia and Ukraine, the New York Times and every other major media outlet were nonstop cheerleaders for war.
Never mind that Russia has more than 5,000 nuclear warheads. We were told that the United States had to humiliate Putin and Russia, no matter what it took. The American media were all in on America risking everything to protect the borders of Ukraine. Of course, the same media outlets claim protecting the borders of the United States makes you a Nazi.
But protecting our own country from the threat of a bunch of nuclear-armed Islamic fanatics who threaten not just Israel but all of our Arab Muslim allies in the region—that is something to be mocked.
All these comedians, the media, and the Democrat Party are essentially putting up their hands in surrender. Or to put it another way, they’re taking a knee to protest America. The Left is just a big “club” of Colin Kaepernicks.
Iran’s Doomsday Cult
Nearly two weeks into the conflict with Iran, I am growing increasingly frustrated with the media’s kindergarten-level analysis, which has largely avoided the religious aspect of this conflict. The Big Media talking heads are beginning to bring up religion, but in a totally unserious way.
“Oh, the Iranians are nuts. They believe that if they die in battle, they will get 72 virgins in heaven,” they say mockingly. Such sophomoric remarks do a tremendous disservice to the American people by depriving them of the main point.
A neighbor confronted me recently. She had served in the military and was upset over reports that some military officers were emphasizing Christian theology in their discussions with the troops about the conflict with Iran.
I replied, “I’m surprised you’re not bringing up Iran’s Shiite end-times theology.” She had no idea what I was talking about. Unfortunately, most Americans don’t know because the media won’t talk about it.
The Shiite radicals who control Iran believe they have a Quranic obligation to hasten the day when the Mahdi, the Islamic messiah, will appear to purge the world of all non-Muslims. They hasten the Mahdi’s appearance by waging war on infidels. That’s why Iran’s radical Islamic regime is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.
The Shiite regime is quite literally an apocalyptic doomsday cult that wants to bring about Armageddon. That’s why the tyrants of Tehran want nuclear weapons.
With that background in mind, there is a disturbing report about Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. It’s based on interviews with Jaber Rajabi, a former top Iranian official who fought U.S. forces in Iraq. He also studied with Mojtaba Khamenei at the Islamic seminary in Qom. Rajabi fled Iran after the regime tried to kill him for exposing the rampant corruption in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Rajabi said that as a student of Islamic theology, Mojtaba Khamenei was “obsessed with the end of days and had believed ‘he himself will have a special part in hastening humanity down that path.’” He added that for Mojtaba, controlling the Middle East is “more of a religious matter than a geopolitical matter.”
He said Mojtaba lies with ease, far more easily than his father, and he has zero respect for human life. “If he can kill 13,000 of his own people,” Rajabi said, “then he has no problem killing 100,000 in Tel Aviv.”
The world heard from Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei for the first time today—sort of. In a message read on Iranian state TV, Khamenei declared that Iran would continue to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed, and he demanded that Middle East nations expel U.S. military forces.
The Religious Left
On Ash Wednesday, hundreds of left-wing progressive church leaders issued a public letter warning America of the grave danger of “White Christian nationalism.” This is part of the Left’s overall plan that has been put in operation to deceive Christians.
It’s not only to convince Christians that the Bible supports socialism, Marxism, abortion, transgenderism, and homosexuality, but it’s also to convince them that the policies pursued by pro-defense conservatives and normal Christians are unbiblical.
Saving unborn babies, wanting marriage to be the union of a man and a woman, and wanting to protect children from deforming surgeries make you “judgmental” and “un-Christian.” Loving your country and loving Jesus makes you a “Christian nationalist.”
It’s interesting that the letter explicitly said that the grave danger to our democracy is “White Christian nationalism.” I’ve noticed more and more that the word “White” as an adjective is being put in front of “Christian nationalism.” That’s a curious development.
Well, there’s an important voting bloc in America that is solidly for the Democrats. It’s Black Americans, including many churchgoing Blacks. They are also patriotic, and they also love Jesus.
But the Left can’t be seen as attacking them for loving America and loving Jesus. So, they have to make clear that they are only attacking Whites who love America and love Jesus.
Now explain the logic of that to me. If you claim loving America and loving Jesus is a negative thing, then why is it okay for Blacks who vote for Democrats and not okay for Whites who vote for Republicans? Oh, wait, I just answered my own question.
Prayers In Washington, D.C.
