Inside The Gates

Since March 1st there has been a wave of terrorist attacks on our homeland. The barbarians are inside the gates.

The attacks began when Ndiaga Diagne, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Senegal, attacked a popular bar in Austin, Texas. Three people were killed, and 13 were wounded.

On March 7th, Ibrahim Kayumi and Emir Balat attacked a peaceful demonstration in New York City. Their parents came here legally from Afghanistan and Turkey.

Yesterday, there were two jihadist attacks. The first occurred when Mahomed Jollah, a naturalized citizen from Sierra Leone, attacked students on the campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

Jollah walked into a classroom and asked, “Is this ROTC?” When the professor, retired Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, said yes, Jollah yelled, “Allahu Akbar,” and immediately opened fire. Lt. Col. Shaw was killed, and two cadets were wounded.

We don’t yet know all the step‑by‑step details that followed, but we know how it ended: the ROTC cadets in that room attacked Jollah and killed him. They engaged in combat, and they killed the enemy. (See below.)

Later in the day, Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Lebanon, attacked a synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan. We should not downplay what happened there.

Jews do not worship on Thursday, so why would an Islamic jihadist drive a vehicle into a synagogue on that day? Because there is a kindergarten there. This was an attempt to massacre Jewish children. It failed because two brave security guards rose to the occasion. One was injured when the car rammed the building; the other fought back and took down the attacker.

Dearborn Heights Mayor Mo Baydoun said Ghazali had family members who were killed recently in Lebanon in an Israeli airstrike against Hezbollah. Did Mayor Baydoun actually confirm that? More importantly, what does that have to do with a synagogue in Michigan?

Israel is engaged in a war with Hezbollah in Lebanon. But when relatives are killed 6,300 miles away, Ghazali’s Islamist mindset is to go kill Jewish children. That is a perfect example of antisemitism.

And it shows you how Islamists view the war—not as a war between nation states or as a nation battling a terrorist organization, but as a religious war by Muslims against Jews and other “infidels.”

American Heroes

These attacks are evil. But I am encouraged by what I see as a larger emergence of American heroism. In New York City, two police officers responded instantly and heroically. Without hesitation, they ran after the Islamists who threw bombs at innocent bystanders and tackled them. The officers acted without thinking twice about their own safety.

In Texas, police arrived on the scene of the bar shooting in less than a minute. They immediately engaged with the attacker and eliminated him. At Old Dominion University, the ROTC cadets fought back. And in Michigan, a well-trained good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun.

Sadly, we should brace ourselves, as there will likely be more jihadi attacks. But there is also a new America emerging, one that contradicts everything the Left insists about America.

Just look at how out of step the Left is. In Virginia, the local prosecutor used the occasion of a jihadist attack to hold a press conference not to discuss terrorism, but to rail against gun ownership in Norfolk.

He is reportedly a Soros‑funded prosecutor; draw your own conclusions about whether that is a coincidence. Norfolk is the main military hub in the state, yet this is where the political class trains its fire—not on the attacker, but on lawful gun owners.

In New York City, the officers who acted so bravely are members of the same police force that Mayor Zohran Mamdani (see below) regularly disrespects and wants to reduce. If left‑wing policies prevail, there will be fewer men and women willing and able to do exactly what those officers did.

In Texas, there were rumors that Austin District Attorney Jose Garza, another Soros-funded prosecutor, would go after the police for killing Diagne. But public outrage was so intense that he had to hold a press conference to say he would not do that.

The Left in America is spending all its time trying to undermine President Trump and our effort to destroy the threat posed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. But normal Americans—who may or may not agree with the decision to confront Iran—are doing exactly what we hope every American will do: waking up each morning prepared to risk their lives to protect their country and their fellow citizens.

The old saying was, “If you see something, say something.” In the era we’re living in, I would update that: “If you see something, do something. Confront it. If you have the capacity, fight back.”

Stop The Stupidity

Mahomed Jollah, the jihadist who attacked the ROTC class at Old Dominion University, previously served in the National Guard. But he became radicalized and swore his allegiance to ISIS. He had been plotting something like the Fort Hood attack—he wanted to kill his fellow servicemembers.

Thankfully, his plot was exposed. In 2017, he was convicted of aiding and abetting ISIS and sentenced to 11 years in prison. But he received time off his sentence for “good behavior.” A Bush‑appointed judge allowed his early release, and 18 months later Jollah was waging jihad.

If Jollah was still behind bars, where he should be, Lt. Col. Shah would be alive today. If Jollah had been stripped of his citizenship and deported, Lt. Col. Shah would be alive today.

This case encapsulates much of what is wrong in America and illustrates how it could end up getting us killed if we do not change course.

Iran’s Useful Idiots

The situation in the Strait of Hormuz is obviously a serious problem. And once again, the American media, Iran’s useful idiots, are not directing their outrage at Iran for effectively trying to bring down the world’s economy. Instead, they are attacking President Trump for supposedly failing to anticipate this outcome, even though experts have been warning for years that exactly this scenario was likely.

So, what have we learned over the last 13 days? First, we have an incredible military. Second, Iran had more plans, more surprises, and more secret projects underway than either Israel or the United States fully realized. In other words, they were stronger and further along than the world believed.

The reaction to this should not be, “What has Trump gotten us into?” It should be, “Thank God President Trump acted when he did.”

Iran was building weapons systems that no one knew about and was clearly continuing down the path toward nuclear weapons. If Trump had not confronted this before his term ended, Iran would have become essentially untouchable.

With nuclear weapons, the radical Iranian regime would have total control over the Strait of Hormuz and would be able to act with impunity. What would that have cost the American taxpayers?

Imagine a nuclear‑armed Iran controlling global oil flows through Hormuz, with a large drone stockpile and intercontinental ballistic missiles being mass-produced every month. If a future president finds the United States in a war or near‑war with communist China in the Pacific, what do you think would happen in the Middle East?

Do you think China’s ally, Iran, would simply sit on a huge stockpile of weapons, including nuclear weapons, and do nothing? Or would they seize the opportunity while American attention and forces are focused elsewhere?

In an odd way, it is actually a blessing—a stroke of fortune, or perhaps providence—that Donald Trump took a calculated risk and decided to confront this threat when he did.

We discovered just how far along Iran was to becoming a world power that no one, certainly not the feckless nations of Europe or any Democrat president, would have the will to confront. The price of acting later would have been unbearably high.

The Strait of Hormuz must remain open, and it should not be the sole responsibility of the U.S. Navy to ensure that.

If our European allies refuse to commit their ships and resources to this effort, then I do not want to hear another lecture from anyone—including some people who receive this report, and you know who you are—about how absolutely imperative it is that we “stand with NATO” and “support our allies.” Where are they now?

Islamists Demand Jerusalem

Today is Al‑Quds Day. “Al‑Quds” is the Arabic name for Jerusalem. The day was created in 1979 by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and falls every year on the last day of Ramadan, bringing massive demonstrations in Tehran and across the Muslim world.

And because the West has imported so many Muslims, there are also demonstrations in London, Paris, Berlin, New York City, and other major cities across the United States. At these rallies, adherents of the “religion of peace” chant slogans like “Death to Israel” and “Death to America.”

The core message of Al‑Quds Day is that Jerusalem belongs to Islam, and the Islamic supremacists will not stop until they seize it. The historical reality, of course, is that Jews were living in Jerusalem long before Islam existed.

The Dome of the Rock mosque was built on the Temple Mount in 692 A.D. The Second Temple was built more than 1,200 years earlier in 516 B.C.

Jerusalem has never been the capital of any people other than the Jews. At no time in its history has Jerusalem been the capital of any other nation other than the Jewish nation of Israel.

If, through some tragedy or miscalculation, Jerusalem were to fall into the hands of the Islamists, the Al‑Quds marches each year on the last day of Ramadan would soon be marches demanding Washington, D.C., as well.

A Personal Note

I have spent far too much of my life dealing with radical Islam. The mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, smuggled a letter out of Gitmo arguing that Islam would never achieve its aims unless it could get rid of “Christian Zionists.” In that letter, he listed four Christian Zionists he believed had to be eliminated. I was one of them.

Because of widespread ignorance about Islamist radicalism, we have allowed ourselves to be repeatedly confused and deceived. Under certain interpretations, a Muslim may lie (Taqiyya) to non‑believers; more than that, if such deception serves to protect or advance Islam, it can be considered obligatory.

We keep ignoring another central Islamic teaching called Fitrah: that all human beings are, at birth, Muslims and that they have been led away from Islam by infidel parents and societies. Under that view, every newborn anywhere in the world is a Muslim born into what is supposed to be a Muslim land.

That is why the notion of “compromise” is illusory. You cannot simply give up half of Jerusalem and expect the demands to stop. Next, they will want half of Paris, half of London, half of Washington, and eventually all of them.

And if they cannot achieve this on the battlefield, they will seek to do it through demographic change—in the maternity wards—which is happening every day as Muslim families have more children.

What Have NYC Voters Done?

Evidence of the deep-seated Jew-hatred of Rama Duwaji, Mayor Mamdani’s wife, continues to emerge. Here’s the latest.

Duwaji is an artist, and she drew the main illustration for an essay written by Susan Abulhawa. It’s obvious how Duwaji got the job—they have a lot in common. Ms. Abulhawa is a raving antisemite who praised the October 7th atrocity as “spectacular.”

Abulhawa has referred to Jews as “rootless, soulless ghouls,” “Jewish supremacist demons,” “demonic parasites,” and “sons of Satan.” She attacked pro-Israel columnist Melanie Phillips as a “lying Jewish supremacist cockroach.”

When Zohran Mamdani’s disturbing connections to radical Islamists were exposed, the left-wing media and many New York City voters dismissed them as unfair, bigoted attacks made during a heated political campaign. Now that his wife’s antisemitism and connections to radical Islamists are being exposed, it’s virtually impossible to dismiss them now.
