Democrat Disconnect
The conventional wisdom is that our country is split right down the middle on dozens of issues, and compromise is the only way to get anything done. That’s true on some things.
But there are several issues where the public overwhelmingly shares the view held by conservatives and Christians, while the Democrat opposition shows just how disconnected the Left is from reality. Let’s examine a few of these issues.
Election Integrity
The Senate is taking up a bill called the SAVE America Act. Here are the main provisions in the bill, which are intended to safeguard the integrity of American elections:
- Proof of citizenship when people register to vote.
- ID when they do vote.
- States must remove non-citizens from their voter rolls.
- States must share their voter rolls with the Department of Homeland Security to ensure that non-citizens are being removed.
Seventy-one percent of Americans support the bill. Yet, Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer called the legislation “despicable.” Other Democrats are trying to convince minority Americans that the bill is meant to stop them from voting, which is an evil argument.
Transgender Insanity
Once the country was divided on transgender issues because Americans were confused about it. They didn’t know what the words “trans woman” and “trans man” meant. They didn’t understand why a girl insisted on being called “they” and why boys were allowed to compete against girls in sports.
But over the years, they have watched and learned. Now:
- 79% of Americans oppose men playing in girls’ sports.
- 71% oppose little children having healthy body parts cut off to turn them into something they are not and never will be.
- 77% of parents oppose boys in their daughters’ school bathrooms and locker rooms.
- 69% of parents don’t want teachers pushing transgender ideology on their children in school.
Yet the entire Democratic Party, not just the liberals but even so-called “moderates” like Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, will not budge. They veto, block, and prevent anything that will protect our children and restore normalcy and common sense.
Immigration
Immigration is another issue where Americans broadly agree, but Democrats are out in left field. While various tactics of immigration enforcement may be controversial, there is no controversy over the policy goals and objectives. For example:
- 78% of Americans support deporting criminal illegal aliens.
- 68% support securing the border and enacting policies that discourage illegal immigration.
- 57% support deporting all illegal foreign nationals regardless of their criminal status.
The Democrat Party’s position is the exact opposite, and they will not budge. If a Democrat is elected president, they will open the border. They will take down the border wall. They will inundate the country with millions of Third World migrants.
And then, to top it all off, they will push for citizenship for foreign nationals already in the country illegally because they don’t want regular Americans to ever prevail in another election.
Iran
Finally, consider the conflict with Iran. Initially, it was divisive. The first poll on the conflict, conducted by CNN, found that 59% of Americans opposed it, while 41% supported it.
But as Americans observed the incredible success of our military in the operation’s opening days, opinions changed. A new poll finds that 51% of the public supports the current use of military force against Iran, and 41% opposes it.
When informed about Iran’s 47-year history of terrorism against the United States, support grew to 57%, and opposition fell to 33%. Another thing the public overwhelmingly believes is now that we’re in it, we need to win it. By a margin of 59% to 33%, Americans say the United States should “finish the job” in Iran.
Yet Democrats, their liberal media allies, and left-wing groups are using rhetoric that makes it absolutely clear they want us to lose. They’re standing with radical Islamists, not the American people and our brave men and women in uniform.
Day 18
Israel announced that it has killed Iran’s de facto leader, Ali Larijani, in an airstrike. Larijani led Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. Previously, Larijani served as speaker of the Iranian parliament and was Iran’s lead negotiator for the 2015 Obama/Biden nuclear deal.
Israel also took out Gholamreza Soleimani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Basij militia, and his deputy, Seyyed Karishi. The Basij militia acts as Iran’s “morality police,” enforcing Sharia law and suppressing any opposition to the regime.
Meanwhile, the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has yet to be seen. There are reports that he was severely wounded in the strike that killed his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and rumors that he may be dead.
Intelligence reports suggest that the late ayatollah did not want his “dumb” son to succeed him. And, if the intelligence is accurate, the new supreme leader is also a homosexual.
Guilty
On July 4, 2025, members of Antifa attacked the federal immigration detention center in Alvarado, Texas. They launched fireworks at the building and then opened fire on federal immigration police when they went outside. A local police officer responding to the scene was shot in the neck.
At least 16 people associated with the North Texas Antifa Cell were arrested and charged with various crimes, including attempted murder and domestic terrorism. Seven pleaded guilty. Nine Antifa members, at least two of whom claim to be transgender, attempted to fight the charges in court. Last week, a federal jury found all of them guilty.
This is the first time Antifa members have been convicted on domestic terrorism charges. May it be the first of many more such convictions.
Predictably, Antifa supporters erupted in rage at news of these convictions. They are threatening the wife of the judge who presided over the trial and Andy Ngo, a courageous journalist who has exposed Antifa’s extremism and violence.
One leftist wrote on social media that the “only appropriate response” to the verdicts is “retaliation,” adding, “Don’t let the fascist state go unpunished.”
I hope the FBI does not let these Marxist revolutionaries go unpunished!
Revenge & Retribution
A left-wing media outlet is reporting that Democrats are plotting their revenge against companies, law firms, and universities that worked with or cooperated with the Trump administration in any way.
Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), who led the first Trump impeachment effort, is leading this revenge scheme in the Senate. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), who would chair the House Judiciary Committee if Democrats win in November, is leading the effort in the House.
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) told reporters, “Paramount should enjoy its growing news monopoly while they have it because when Democrats win back power, we are going to break up these anti-democratic information conglomerates.”
This is just the latest of many examples of leftist politicians threatening retribution once they gain power. They’re not even trying to hide it. Don’t forget what happened the last time Democrats had power:
- They censored Americans on social media.
- They lied about the truth.
- They spied on parents and churches.
- They tried to ban their main political opponent from the ballot.
- They raided the home of their main political opponent.
- They tried to put the leading opposition candidate in jail.
- They sent armed SWAT teams to homes of conservative activists.
- They did put pro-life Christians in jail.

I’m sure you heard the news yesterday that White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles is battling breast cancer. Some of my family members are close to her. She has been a powerful voice for good in the Trump White House, and I am pleased to know that she will continue her duties while seeking treatment.
