I want to give you a little context for the rapid-fire breaking headlines we’re seeing virtually every day. I am concerned that some of our “troops” are getting weak knees. It’s time for a “reality check.”
The Left hasn’t given up because it lost an election. We are still in a war for the very meaning and understanding of a place called America. Because it’s a war, we have to be strong. There is no substitute for winning.
Americans generally, and conservatives particularly, have believed for some time that our country was heading in the wrong direction. Donald Trump is taking on every power center in the country to stop America’s decline and to restore the country as “one nation under God.”
Leftist county Judge Hannah Dugan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recently held a hearing involving an illegal alien charged with battery and domestic abuse. Judge Dugan found out that federal immigration law enforcement agents were in the courthouse to apprehend and deport this thug, who has been kicked out of the country before.
Judge Dugan became very irate and confronted the ICE agents. Then, she returned to her courtroom, abandoned her judicial responsibilities, and began aiding and abetting the illegal alien lawbreaker.
She advised the illegal alien and his attorney to escape through a side exit leading to the jury room, but her effort to free this criminal alien ultimately failed. ICE agents caught him outside the courthouse.
ICE then went to court and got a warrant for Judge Dugan’s arrest, which they executed last Friday. Now she will have to appear before a judge to explain why she obstructed a federal law enforcement agency and tried to help a fugitive illegal alien avoid arrest and deportation.
Of course, the Left immediately rushed to the judge’s defense, despite her violation of every judicial norm. Leftists gathered outside the courthouse to show their support. The front page of the Washington Post declared, “Trump Steps Up War on American Judiciary.” That’s “fake news” and propaganda.
Leftist judges are waging war against the president of the United States and against us. They are doing everything they can to sabotage his number one campaign promise. The headline should be, “Progressive Judges Step Up War on President.”
Democrats have tried to turn Kilmar Garcia, an illegal alien from El Salvador, into their patron saint of open borders. Now they’ve taken a whacked-out leftist judge, and they’re trying to make her the example of what a judge should be – someone who aids and abets an illegal alien hoping to escape the consequences of American law.
Patriots & Traitors
Meanwhile, back in Washington, D.C., Democrats took their performative demonstrations outside. House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker held a “sit-in” yesterday on the Capitol steps.
Jeffries quoted Ulysses S. Grant, saying, “There are but two parties in America right now - Patriots and Traitors.” And we, according to Jeffries, are the traitors.
Leftist traitors spent four years erasing the borders of the United States and allowing an invasion of millions of military-aged men from dozens of countries. They did everything they could to stop governors from controlling the border.
They blocked every commonsense piece of legislation to control the border. They wanted to replace the population of the United States with Third World illegal aliens.
President Trump has secured the border and stopped their plans. Now we are “traitors” and they want to be called “patriots.”
The America our Founding Fathers fought and died for was built on ordered liberty under God. That America has provided more freedom and opportunity to more people than any nation on earth. The Left wants to erase all of that and replace it with a country built on Marxist ideas.
That’s why we can’t lose our nerve in the difficult months ahead.
What Norms?
Referring to the arrest of Judge Dugan, every so-called “mainstream” commentator parroted the same theme over the weekend: “This is not normal. Donald Trump is attacking judges and assaulting every norm.” Chuck Schumer and other Democrats are raising the specter of impeachment again.
Okay, everyone take a deep breath.
The FBI arrested a judge who helped an illegal alien escape arrest. The FBI also arrested a judge in New Mexico who was harboring illegal alien gang members in his house.
And the same people who lied to us about Joe Biden’s declining health are insisting that Trump is waging war on the judiciary. Surely, we all remember what happened over the last four years -- leftists repeatedly threatened the Supreme Court of the United States.
- The not-so-veiled threats of violence.
- The leaking of a Supreme Court decision and an investigation that couldn’t find the leaker.
- The death threats against conservative justices.
- Demonstrations outside of their homes night and day to intimidate the justices, a violation of federal law.
- The refusal of the Biden/Harris regime to enforce the law and allowing the demonstrations to continue.
- Biden bragged about ignoring Supreme Court decisions on student loans.
- Constant threats to pack the Supreme Court with left-wing activists or even impeach conservative justices.
There were no stories about “the Left’s war on the courts” or “the Left’s assault on norms.”
All the things they did to Donald Trump during his first term and all the things they did to him after his first term were violations of norms and the rule of law.
They spent eight hours inside his home ransacking his house, including his wife’s belongings. They turned off security cameras so no one could see what they were doing.
They took an obscure law in New York and twisted it in a way that had never been done before to come up with dozens of fake felony charges when the statute of limitations had already expired.
A leftist judge forced Trump to sit in court for weeks, unable to campaign, while Biden joked about his opponent “being tied up right now.”
Where were the norms and the rule of law for four years of open borders? It was the exact opposite of the rule of law. Our own government worked overtime to facilitate the breaking of the law.
The Figures Don’t Add Up
A new CBS News poll finds that 56% of Americans support President Trump’s efforts to deport illegal aliens, while 44% oppose those efforts.
In contrast, the latest Washington Post poll claims Trump has completely collapsed on every issue. On immigration specifically, the Post poll finds Americans disapprove 53% to 46% of Trump’s handling of immigration.
That’s a 19-point disagreement between two “distinguished” media outlets. They both can’t be right. If you look at the internals of the Washington Post poll, only 35% said they voted for Donald Trump last year. Trump received 50% of the vote.
So, we’re given bad numbers from a poll in which 65% of those surveyed did not vote for Trump. And based on that biased survey, we’re supposed to conclude he’s in complete meltdown?!
Sign Of The Times
The Biden White House frequently used signs, banners, and decorations to align itself with the extreme positions of the fringe left. It was always an “in your face” reminder of who was in charge and their radical agenda.
The Trump White House put up their own signs this morning. Their “decorations” along the White House lawn feature the mug shots of the 100 worst criminal illegal aliens who have been deported in the first 100 days of the Trump/Vance administration.
At a press conference this morning, Border Czar Tom Homan blasted Joe Biden’s insane open border policies, saying:
“I worked for six presidents, starting with Ronald Reagan. Every president I ever worked for took more [border] security seriously. Because you can’t have national security if you don’t have strong border security. . . Joe Biden was the first president in the history of this nation who came into office and unsecured the border on purpose. That’s just a fact.”
