Day 2
It’s Day 2 of Project Freedom—the U.S.-led effort to move ships through the Strait of Hormuz and out of the Persian Gulf. While Secretary of War Pete Hegseth confirmed this morning that the ceasefire remains in effect, the Iranian regime’s actions could very easily set off another round of U.S. retaliation.
After firing missiles at the United Arab Emirates, Iran fired missiles and drones at U.S. ships and sent six speedboats to attack commercial ships. The missiles and drones were neutralized, and today Iran has six fewer speedboats.
Oil prices fell and the stock market rose today in the hope that President Trump may have achieved a partial reopening of the strait to relieve the shipping bottleneck.
When the ceasefire was announced last month, the U.S. military took steps to identify the location of Iranian mines and created a “safe zone” away from the Iranian coast, making it harder for Iran to target commercial vessels.
Admiral Bradley Cooper, head of U.S. Central Command, said the U.S. naval blockade of Iranian ports and additional assets in the region are creating “multiple layers” of defense involving “ships, helicopters, aircraft, airborne early warning and electronic warfare” systems to protect commercial ships.
At his press conference this morning, Secretary Hegseth warned Iran that it would face “overwhelming and devastating American firepower” if it continued to threaten U.S. and commercial ships. General Dan Caine added, “No adversary should mistake our current restraint with a lack of resolve.”
Marxist Murderers
We’re learning more about what motivated the arsonist who lit the deadly fire in Pacific Palisades, California. Prosecutors revealed in their latest court filings that Jonathan Rinderknecht was obsessed with Luigi Mangione—the cowardly assassin who murdered UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on December 4, 2024.
In the days before he ignited the Palisades fire that killed 12 people in January 2025, Rinderknecht went online and searched the phrases “free Luigi Mangione,” “let’s take down all the billionaires” and “reddit let’s kill all the billionaires.”
Court records show that Rinderknecht told investigators that he set the fire “out of resentment of the rich enjoying their money as ‘we’re basically being enslaved by them.’”
That’s the same rhetoric we hear virtually every day from leading Democrats. Bernie Sanders said, “Billionaires should not exist.”
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, “The ascent of billionaires is a symptom & outcome of an immoral system that tells people affordable insulin is impossible but exploitation is fine.”
It’s this kind of dangerous Marxist rhetoric that results in half of self-identified “left-leaning” individuals saying that murdering Donald Trump and Elon Musk would be justified.
By the way, the FBI just arrested a Democrat Senate candidate for threatening to kill President Trump. He left a voicemail message for a member of Congress demanding that we “redistribute the wealth” before all the billionaires and their family members get their throats slit.
When he gets out of jail, Democrats will give him a job as a speechwriter!
It’s the same with the transgender issue. Democrats and trans activists accuse conservatives and Christians of denying children “life-saving” health care. We’re accused of being bigots for trying to prevent someone from living as their “authentic self.” Some trans activists even accuse us of “genocide.”
The trans-obsessed assassin who killed Charlie Kirk etched on one bullet, “Hey, fascist! Catch!" Democrats regularly call President Trump “Hitler” and Republicans “fascists” and “Nazis.” What does preventing the mutilation of children have to do with fascism?
To the Democrats, every leading Republican, every conservative leader, every Trump appointee is a Nazi. The only guy who isn’t a Nazi is the Democrat Senate candidate in Maine, who has a Nazi tattoo. Who knew that the best way to prevent the Democrats from attacking someone as a Nazi was to get a Nazi tattoo?
Double Standards
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s political organization once put out a “target list” of Democrat incumbents they were working to defeat. “Targeting candidates for defeat” is a commonly used phrase, and everyone knows that it does not mean to kill them.
But then Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ) was shot. What followed was a week-long orgy of demands for every Republican to denounce Palin. If they didn’t, they were accused of wanting to kill Democrats, too.
Fast forward to today.
There have been three assassination attempts against Donald Trump in 21 months. But no one is holding Democrats to account for their violent and hypercharged rhetoric against Trump, including labeling him as “an existential threat to our democracy.”
Now, just try to imagine what the atmosphere in the country would be like if there were three assassination attempts against Barack Obama.
The Supreme Court recently declared that it was obviously unconstitutional to draw congressional districts guaranteed to elect candidates of a particular race. The reaction of the Left and the media was, “This is segregation and slavery all over again!”
In her dissenting opinion in the Louisiana redistricting case, Justice Elena Kagan accused the Supreme Court’s conservative majority of “betraying its duty” and “the literal blood of Union soldiers and civil rights marchers.”
What is she talking about?! Is she trying to get another unhinged leftist to attempt to kill the court’s conservative justices?
This is the most far-left Democrat Party in the history of our country. The civil war that has been brewing in the party appears to be over. The Marxists/socialists and the radical Islamists have won.
Met Mini Riot
America’s cultural elites were on parade last night at the annual Met Gala. Normally, the Left loves the Met Gala. It’s a fundraising party for New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. But there was little love this year.
Protest messages illuminated New York City buildings. Mayor Zohran Mamdani boycotted the event. Demonstrators attempted to storm the red carpet. What’s going on?
The backlash was caused by Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, who paid $10 million to be the honorary chairman of this year’s gala. But the Left hates billionaires, even when they make massive donations to art museums.
While Democrats spout Marxist rhetoric, Kamala Harris won 14 of the top 15 wealthiest congressional districts in the country. Democrats are the party of the “filthy rich!” And every one of those districts sent a Democrat to Congress, while Donald Trump carried working-class voters by double digits.
Bungled Ballots
Michigan Democrats held their endorsing convention last month. This would be the same Democrat Party convention that formally endorsed a supporter of Hezbollah.
But several candidates are demanding a recount of the votes and a full audit of party procedures. It’s been discovered that hundreds of convention voters were improperly registered, hundreds of voters were not on the master voter list and hundreds of illegal votes were cast.
Sounds like business as usual for Democrats!
