Erika’s Call To Action

When Erika Kirk was being driven in a hearse with the body of her husband, she held a cross in her hand out of the window. Any camera focused on that hearse could not avoid the cross. People who hate the cross of Jesus had just killed her husband and the father of her children, and she is boldly displaying that cross. Her courage should inspire all of us.

We should expect our pastors and church leaders to be as brave as that widow. For those of us who are Christian men, shame on us if we come up with more cowardly excuses about why we are not in this battle for our country.

Erika Kirk vowed to continue her husband’s work, and she urged men and women of faith to rise up and stand with her. She said:

“The evildoers responsible for my husband’s assassination have no idea what they have done. They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and of God’s merciful love.

“They should all know this: If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country, in this world. You have no idea.

“You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.

“To everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die. It won’t. I refuse to let that happen. It will not die. All of us will refuse to let that happen. . . It will become stronger, bolder, louder, and greater than ever. My husband’s mission will not end—not even for a moment.”

If you missed her powerful address Friday evening, I strongly urge you to watch it here.

Meanwhile, Erika’s words are proving to be true. Executives at Turning Point USA say they have received more than 37,000 inquiries about forming new chapters on university campuses. And plans to expand Turning Point’s presence on high school campuses have been turbo charged.

The Evil Among Us

I don’t want to dwell on the Left’s callousness and cruelty. But individuals with responsible jobs in communities all across America, people we count on to run our schools, provide healthcare, and carry out government functions, are posting things that are inconceivable in their hatred and celebration of death and violence. It is a disturbing reminder of what is among us. I will give you just one example from Canada.

A public school teacher in Toronto showed the “snuff film” of Charlie Kirk’s body being thrown back and massive amounts of blood flowing from his neck while he died to his class of 10 and 11-year-old students.

He made his students watch it over and over as he told them Charlie was an evil man who deserved to die. The students, fifth and sixth graders, are suffering from battle stress.

Anyone displaying that kind of deranged, demonic behavior should be nowhere near children.

Education officials in Florida are trying to identify teachers who literally celebrated Charlie’s murder. I urge other conservative states to do the same thing.

This is not an attack on free speech. They’re free to say what they want, but free speech has consequences. If their speech threatens the safety of our children, they need to pay a price.

Media Malfeasance

Just like the major media tried to bury the horrific story of the murder of a female Ukrainian refugee, the media are trying to bury the motivations of Tyler Robinson, the killer in Utah. The Washington Post ran this subheadline: “Motive of assassin unclear.” Only a leftist committed to gaslighting the nation could write that.

This comes on the heels of multiple media outlets and high-profile leftists trying to sell the lie that Robinson was MAGA because his parents are Republicans. That is more evidence of the war we are in and that major institutions have been captured by the enemy. The etchings on the bullet casing alone tell you his motive.

The assassin’s leftist political beliefs are well-known, as is his “lover’s” hatred of Christians and conservatives. Several Sunday talk show hosts were not happy when it was made clear that the killer’s roommate was transgender and in the process of “transitioning” to become a “woman.”

Robinson also spent massive amounts of time in the darkest areas of the web—in violent transgender sites to the “furry” movement. If you don’t know what the “furry” movement is, Google it.

When George Floyd died in the confrontation with Minneapolis police, without any evidence, the media immediately made it a racial issue. It wasn’t. One of the officers involved in Floyd’s arrest is black and another is Asian. But the incident immediately became a symbol of America’s racist criminal justice system.

Matthew Shepherd was killed in a drug deal, but he became a symbol of homophobia. There is virtually no evidence that his sexual orientation had anything to do with his death.

But the Washington Post and other media outlets can look at this situation in Utah and claim the killer’s motivation is unclear.

Stop The Gaslighting

Don’t fall into the trap, being pushed by the media and the Left, that there’s violence “on both sides and it must stop.” The political violence in America is overwhelmingly a tool of the political Left, and not just on the fringe.

Don’t forget that 52% of Democrats wanted Trump to be assassinated or weren’t sure. Another poll found that 71% of Democrats who strongly agreed with the statement “white Republicans are racists” supported Donald Trump’s assassination.

In recent years especially, political violence is all coming from the Left.

It was a leftist who shot Steve Scalise and tried to kill other Republican congressmen. It was a leftist who shot and killed the UnitedHealthcare CEO. It was a leftist who shot and killed the young Jewish couple in Washington, D.C. It was a leftist who tried to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Two leftists tried to kill Donald Trump. The entire summer of 2020 was one big leftist riot fest.

Another way to clear your own mind and knock down the media’s drumbeat of “both sides” is what has happened since last Wednesday. Nothing. No leftists were attacked. No leftist organizations were attacked. There was no rioting in conservative cities. No conservative leader called for violence.

We have to stop letting the Left gaslight us.

The Investigation Grows

There are credible reports that the FBI investigation into Charlie Kirk’s assassination is growing. FBI Director Kash Patel said that within moments of the murder, the assassin was in an online chatroom with more than a dozen individuals.

Multiple social media accounts have been identified that appear to indicate some people may have known in advance that the shooter planned to kill Kirk. For example, one account posted this message on August 6th: “september 10th will be a very interesting day.” That same account posted this message after Kirk’s death was confirmed: “WE F---ING DID IT.”

The FBI is also looking into a network of radical leftist organizations in Utah, including the group “Armed Queers SLC.” Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller told Sean Hannity:

“There is a domestic terrorism movement in this country. . . Under President Trump's leadership . . . we are going to do what it takes to dismantle the organizations and the entities that are fomenting riots, that are doxing, that are trying to inspire terrorism, that are committing acts of wanton violence.”

By the way, I don’t know what’s in the water in southern Utah, but just last year transgender Collin Bailey murdered his parents in Washington City, Utah. That’s the same small town where Robinson’s parents live.

Bailey was arrested hours later in St. George—very close to the same community where Robinson and his transgender partner lived.

This “coincidence” doesn’t prove anything by itself. But it lends credence to the idea that there may be a network of radical transgender activists in the area.

Honoring Charlie

Thousands of people turned out last night for an event at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. One of the speakers was HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr

He told the audience something that few people knew before last night. Kennedy said Charlie Kirk was the “primary architect” of his “unification with Donald Trump.” Kennedy formally endorsed Donald Trump at a Turning Point USA event.

Vice President J.D. Vance hosted Kirk’s podcast today. (Watch it here.) Vance also indicated that the Trump administration is moving against the far-left infrastructure that supports and promotes domestic political violence. In his closing remarks, Vance urged Americans to get off the sidelines and get involved in battle to save America. He said:

“Get involved. That is the best way to honor Charlie’s legacy. . . I can’t promise you that this is going to be easy. . . I can’t promise you that I will avoid Charlie’s fate. But the way to honor him is to shine the light of truth like a torch in the very darkest places. Go do it!

“We owe it to our friend to ensure that his killer is not just prosecuted but punished. And the worst punishment is not the death penalty but the knowledge that Charlie’s mission continues after he is gone.”

Right now, many people are saying that Charlie’s assassination has caused them to rediscover their faith or to get more involved politically. But we don’t know how many people are doing what the killer intended—becoming demoralized and giving up out of fear.

A public memorial service will be held to honor Charlie Kirk this Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. President Trump will be speaking, as will other leading conservatives. The stadium can hold more than 60,000 people. (You can find more details here.)

If only five or ten thousand people show up, it would be a very bad sign that when push comes to shove, our knees are buckling. We’ll just have to wait and see what the turnout is.

But I urge everyone within a reasonable distance of State Farm Stadium to go and bring someone with you. Let’s fill the stadium, and let’s see thousands more outside.

Let’s put the fear where it belongs—on the radical, godless neo-Marxist Left.
