The Genocide Games

The 2022 Winter Olympic Games began today in Beijing, China.  The Games kicked off with a summit of our enemies between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping conspiring against America. 

The Olympic Games should never have been held in communist China.  The games are a huge propaganda coup for the Chinese Communist Party, which will not hesitate to exploit the Games by highlighting communist China's power for all the world to see. 

For example, one of the Chinese Olympic torch bearers is a commander in the People Liberation Army who participated in the border war against India. 

But since the Olympics are being held in Beijing, let's call them the "Genocide Games."  Communist China is engaged in a brutal genocide against ethnic Muslims known as Uighurs.  Millions of Uighurs are imprisoned in concentration camps.  Hundreds of thousands have been forced into slave labor. 

Our Olympic athletes have been told not to take their phones with them because the Chinese communists will compromise them.  Nancy Pelosi, who was all for American athletes kneeling in protest during our national anthem, has told our Olympians not to protest communist China because that government is ruthless. 

Well, she's right about that.  But it begs the question: Why are the Olympics there at all?

Meanwhile, there are some new competitions at the "Beijing Genocide Games."  But there's one that didn't make the official list, even though everyone is participating.  I call it the "Kowtow Event."  It's to see who can bow the lowest and kiss the feet of dictator Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party. 

I thought the head of the International Olympic Committee put in a strong performance for the Kowtow gold medal when he was asked to comment on the Uighur genocide.  He looked like a prisoner of war being forced to read enemy propaganda. 

The talking heads on NBC are eager to be the propaganda voice of the Chinese Communist Party for the next few weeks.  NBC is owned by media giant Comcast, which does big business in communist China.

Speaking of big business, major American corporations like Airbnb, Coca-Cola, Intel, Procter & Gamble and Visa are sponsors of the "Genocide Games."  They should all be ashamed of themselves. 

These woke corporations are quick to demonize Americans who insist on free and fair elections or who defend traditional values.  But they won't say a word against communist China's genocide and oppression of free speech and religious liberty. 

So, join me in sending a message to communist China and their American corporate apologists – TURN THE "GENOCIDE GAMES" OFF!

Wrong About Rights

As we noted yesterday, Joe Biden went to New York City to deliver remarks about crime.  He didn't say one word about left-wing prosecutors coddling criminals or our revolving door justice system that releases thugs with no bail required.  Instead, he pushed plans to restrict the Second Amendment, insisting that "no right is absolute."

Here's what you must understand:  When it comes to our rights, and especially those articulated in the Constitution, there is a presumption that they are not to be restricted. 

Any government official who wants to restrict our rights should be viewed with considerable suspicion, and they bear a heavy legal burden to demonstrate an extreme need to limit our rights. 

In spite of what Biden said, he and the entire left-wing juggernaut actually does believe there is a right that is absolute and unlimited.  More absurdly, this right not even in the Constitution.  To them, it's the most precious right of all – the right to destroy innocent pre-born children. 

Unlike the Second Amendment right in the Constitution, which often results in lives being saved, the so-called "right" they cherish is always intended to result in death. 

The left worships at the altar of abortion on demand.  Liberals oppose every commonsense restriction to abortion.  They believe abortions must be allowed at any time for any reason or no reason at all, up to the moment of birth and even after birth. 

These so-called "progressives" support abortion if the baby's gender is "wrong."  They support abortion to continue the genocide of individuals with Down Syndrome.  They won't restrict abortions when the baby can feel pain or when the baby has a heartbeat. 

Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton can't name one abortion they would prevent.  In fact, liberals are so pro-abortion, they want to force you to pay for other people's abortions.

The left wants to erase rights explicitly stated in the Constitution, but they are absolutists about a right that isn't in the Constitution.  And it is not there.  No one found a right to abortion in the Constitution from 1787 to 1972. 

When they claimed there was a constitutional right to abortion in the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, they were simply wrong.  It is an error that, hopefully, will soon be corrected.

Why Rogan?

While efforts to silence Joe Rogan, who is not a conservative, have failed so far, they are far from over.  MoveOn.org has gathered nearly 100,000 signatures on a petition to remove Rogan from Spotify. 

The issue for the left is that like the late, great Rush Limbaugh, Rogan is the one of the biggest voices in the country with a very big audience.  Authoritarian censors must be able to limit or control all voices or they are in trouble.  The left routinely launches attacks against Tucker Carlson to shut him down, too.

Even worse for the left, Rogan has a platform in the social media arena, which the left thinks it owns.  Many young Americans go there, and the left can't stand that there is still one place in social media where issues are openly debated in the search for truth.  

It's particularly ironic that entertainers have joined the censorship brigade.  As constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley put it, an entertainer being against free speech is like an athlete being against physical fitness!

FreedomCivics

The division in our country today is terrible.  Much of it is due to left-wing indoctrination in the government-run public schools teaching our children critical race theory and anti-American history.  Far too many young Americans, the beneficiaries of the greatest freedom and prosperity the world has ever known, are confused about socialism and capitalism. 

I pleased to report there is a solution – FreedomCivics.

FreedomCivics is a 20-session course that includes accurate history and the principles of freedom and free enterprise, with a focus on the four Founding Documents of America – the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, the Northwest Ordinance and the U.S. Constitution.

The course is designed primarily for high school and college students, but is also well-suited for gifted middle school students.  I highly recommend FreedomCivics as a part of any homeschool curriculum or as a supplement to private and public school instruction.

• The Republican National Committee voted overwhelmingly to formally censure Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for participating in Pelosi's January 6th committee.

• South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem signed legislation to protect girls sports from biological boys who claim to be girls.  She also moved to ban critical race theory in schools.

• Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares is successfully rolling back college vaccine mandates.

• Eight state attorneys general are suing the Biden Administration to end a program that encourages human smuggling and chain migration.

• A Louisville, Kentucky, police officer, who was suspended for four months for praying at an abortion clinic while off duty, has won a $75,000 settlement against the city for violating his rights.

• Special Counsel John Durham is expanding his investigation into the Russia collusion hoax.  In new court filings, Durham states three times that he is conducting "an active, ongoing criminal investigation" beyond the indictment of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann.

• The New York Times is suing the State Department for emails related to Hunter Biden.  Perhaps the "mainstream media" has realized that the Hunter Biden laptop/corruption story wasn't Russian disinformation after all.
