The Narrative Shifts Again

For days now, all the commentators on CNBC, America’s major financial network, have been hyperventilating over President Trump’s trade policies. “Why all these tariffs on the rest of the world? We should put tariffs on China,” they cried.

The answer is that we wanted all these other countries to lower their tariffs on our products, and we’re in discussions now to do just that. Meanwhile, Trump increased tariffs on communist China to 145%.
