Left-wing Hate
There was a massive turnout this weekend of patriotic Americans marching in the streets of the Washington, D.C., showing their support for President Trump. They waved American flags and sang patriotic songs. No stores were looted. No windows were broken. No business owners had to worry about their property being destroyed.
And then the sun went down. As the crowd dispersed, left-wing thugs showed up with their masks and clubs. The brave warriors of the left attacked elderly men, women and children. That's who they singled out.
They assaulted a black man. They launched fireworks at people eating dinner. Their favorite tactic was to run up behind men in their 50s and 60s, punch them and then stomp on their heads.
This is at least the third time in recent months that real fascists have owned the streets of our nation's capital. Not one of the major networks covered the violence. Not one progressive leader has condemned it.
This is how the greatest constitutional republic that has ever existed will end if the left's hatred goes unchecked.
Another Vaccine
The first announcement of a successful COVID-19 vaccine occurred just one week after the election. Now, two weeks after the election, we have gotten the announcement of a second successful COVID-19 vaccine.
By the way, Dr. Anthony Fauci has been on TV a lot lately, and never once was he forced to admit that he was wrong about when the vaccines would be out.
Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, suggested that masks were more effective than vaccines, which he predicted would not be available until next summer. President Trump said Dr. Redfield was "confused."
The media used Fauci and Redfield as cudgels to pummel the president. They were wrong. Trump was right.
To add insult to injury, Fauci also seems to be downplaying the vaccines, saying that even after we have them we must continue to wear masks and socially distance.
I am not a doctor, but I think there is a good chance that the virus will end with a whimper, not a bang. Yes, there is growing spread right now, but the overwhelming majority of people who get it will fully recover. And soon, the rollout of the vaccine will result in millions of people not having to worry about it anymore. They will either have had it or they will be vaccinated.
More Fake News
You'll recall that Governor Andrew Cuomo, along with other liberal governors, has repeatedly said that he will not authorize the distribution of any vaccine in New York state that was developed under Donald Trump until New York bureaucrats determine that it is safe.
On Friday, the president conducted a major briefing detailing the vaccine distribution plan. Trump said we will distribute the vaccines appropriately to all the states, but we won't give it to New York until state officials request it and are willing to distribute it.
"We can't be delivering it to a state that won't be giving it to its people immediately. . . So the governor will let us know when he's ready," Trump said, adding, "I hope he doesn't handle this as badly as he's handled the nursing homes."
The president's statement was completely logical and fair, but the media twisted Trump's remarks to suggest he was attempting to get revenge on Cuomo by giving the vaccine to every state except New York. Even Fox News distorted the president's statement.
It would be malpractice to send the initial vaccine doses meant for the elderly and first responders to a state that won't use them immediately. But that's exactly what Governor Cuomo has said.
He called Pfizer's vaccine announcement "good and bad news." It was good news because "the tests look good." The bad news is that "it's about two months before Joe Biden takes over."
And now the governor is threatening to sue the president to get access to a vaccine he seemingly didn't want.
Election Update
Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell appeared yesterday with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the Trump campaign's ongoing legal challenges to the election results.
Both Giuliani and Powell raised questions about two companies involved in the vote counting – Dominion and Smartmatic, which has ties to Venezuela, and whether their software was built to manipulate votes.
Giuliani and Powell are suggesting that hundreds of thousands of votes, perhaps even millions of votes, were shifted from Trump to Biden because of the software these companies used. Dominion's voting system was used in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Texas tested and rejected Dominion's election software three times. Powell suggested that she has evidence that some state officials received "kickbacks" to ensure that its voting system was used.
Multiple Democrats, including Senators Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar, have warned about problems with these voting systems as recently as last year. So given that there is bi-partisan concern about these systems, it is only fair that the president's concerns be thoroughly examined.
There is a lot about this election that doesn't make sense. For example:
· Donald Trump received millions of additional votes compared to 2016. As a result, Republicans exceeded expectations in House races and at the state level. They were not wiped out in the Senate contests. Yet in spite of this surprising success at every other level, we're supposed to believe that Trump lost?
· Nineteen "bellwether counties" have historically voted for the winner of every presidential election for the past 40 years. Their success at accurately reflecting the rest of the country is why they are called "bellwethers." This year Trump carried 18 of the 19 bellwether counties, yet he supposedly lost the election?
· An unprecedented number of Americans said they were better off under Trump than they were four years ago. Yet we're supposed to believe they voted against Trump?
· According to the exit polling, the economy was the most important issue to voters. Yet we're supposed to believe that Trump is the first president with a positive approval rating on the economy to lose reelection?
Al Qaeda & Tehran
News broke over the weekend that U.S. and Israeli intelligence teamed up in August to eliminate Abu Mohammed al-Masri, Al Qaeda's second in command. Al-Masri was responsible for the 1998 attacks on the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that killed more than 220 people. He was also behind the suicide bombing of an Israeli-owned hotel in Kenya on the eve of Chanukah that killed 13.
According to various reports, we provided the intelligence regarding al-Masri's whereabouts while Israeli forces on the ground took him out. And it's important to note where he was located: In Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This report once again underscores two critical facts: First, the necessity of the U.S.-Israel alliance. Our nations are fighting the same enemy in radical Islamic terrorism. Second, that enemy is "headquartered" in Iran, the world's leading state-sponsor of terrorism.
Israel is not the obstacle to peace in the Middle East. Iran is.
The ayatollah's regime is responsible for the chaos in the Middle East. Iran is funding Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran is responsible for the deaths of U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran is propping up the Assad regime in Syria. Iran is funding the Houthis rebels in Yemen. And, yes, Iran is working with Al Qaeda.
Donald Trump was right to end the Obama/Biden nuclear "bailout" of the radical Iranian regime. The last thing the Middle East needs now is another deal that rewards the mullahs who chant "Death to Israel!" and "Death to America!"
