Unfit For Office

Joe Biden had a very bad week last week, and this week isn’t going any better. Biden looked befuddled and lost while reviewing the troops at Windsor Castle with King Charles III. That followed a scene of Biden struggling with a folding beach chair.

Last night, Biden proved once again that he just isn’t up for the job. As all the presidents of NATO nations gathered for a critically important dinner, Biden had to go to bed.

Apparently, Sleepy Joe was just too tired. This isn’t the first time that Biden has been unable to meet with foreign heads of state.

Well, I doubt he is as tired as we are of his failed leadership and continued embarrassments!

By the way, I am still reeling from his public announcement that not only is Ukraine running out of ammunition, but that our military is also running out of ammunition. This has been reported before, but never confirmed officially until his public outburst.

We have poured a huge amount of resources into Ukraine, but it’s not enough. And that tells you something critically important about our own national security.

Until 2016, presidents of both parties were obsessed with trading with communist China at the expense of our vital industries. We gutted our own industrial base, including the very industrial base that makes ammunition for our military.

Now we’re scrambling like mad to rebuild it, but that doesn’t happen overnight.

Our enemies know this, and there are growing signs they are preparing to exploit this serious weakness.

But here’s a question that popped into my mind: Is anyone at the White House or the Pentagon rethinking the decision to leave behind billions of dollars of military equipment in our mad rush to get out of Afghanistan just because Joe Biden had some absurd self-imposed deadline?

Wrestling With Wray

FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the House Judiciary Committee today. It was infuriating watching House Republicans attempt to wrestle answers out of Mr. Wray as he dodged and weaved and generally evaded any responsibility for hours on end.

Once again, Wray repeatedly refused to answer any questions about the FBI’s involvement in the events of January 6th.

He refused to take responsibility for the continued massive violations of privacy and the routine abuses of surveillance powers by his agency.

And he refused to explain why multiple FBI officials signed off on the outrageous memo that led to the targeting of conservative Catholic churches.

While many conservative congressmen asked tough questions, I highly recommend that you watch Chairman Jim Jordan’s opening statement and the questioning by Representative Mike Johnson (R-LA).

Both Chairman Jordan and Rep. Johnson rightly focused on the recent court order by Judge Terry Doughty blocking the Biden Administration from communicating with social media companies. A big reason for the judge’s unprecedented order was the FBI’s unprecedented and illegal attempts to violate the First Amendment rights of American citizens.

When pressed as to why the FBI was telling social media companies to censor certain posts, Wray insisted that his agency was only focused on “malignant foreign actors spreading disinformation.”

But that’s not at all what Judge Doughty determined. Wray’s rogue agents were targeting conservative Americans, not “malign foreign actors.”

For example, when social media companies asked the FBI to confirm whether the Hunter Biden laptop story was in fact Russian disinformation, which they knew it wasn’t, the Bureau refused to tell them the truth!

Clearly, the FBI was not acting in good faith. It was protecting the Bidens, and kudos to Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) for calling Wray out!

The FBI has lost the trust of the American people. It must be seriously overhauled and reformed.

On that front, I am pleased to report that opposition among House Republicans to funding a new FBI headquarters is solidifying. They shouldn’t appropriate one dime for a new headquarters until major reforms have been enacted. And those reforms begin with Wray’s resignation.

Speaking Of Disinformation. . .

While we’re on the subject of government-sponsored disinformation, House Republicans investigating the origins of COVID-19 released a damning report yesterday implicating Dr. Anthony Fauci in a coverup.

More specifically, they are accusing Fauci of orchestrating efforts to silence any debate about the origins of COVID-19 and to discredit the “Wuhan lab leak theory.”

Much of the evidence points to Fauci’s involvement in the now-infamous “Proximal Origin” paper that was published in a key scientific journal in March 2020 that aimed to debunk the lab leak theory.

Dr. Fauci publicly promoted this paper from the White House briefing room a day after Dr. Francis Collins insisted that more be done to “help put down” the “very destructive conspiracy” known as the “lab leak theory.”

This is a national scandal!

Once again, there is evidence that our top health officials were not interested in the truth or even in science. What appears to have been motivating them was their relationship with communist China.

Dr. Andrew Rambaut, who co-authored the Proximal Origins paper, suggested to his colleagues that they should promote a natural origin of COVID-19 because of the “sh-t show that would happen if anyone serious accused the Chinese of even accidental release.”

In other words, our own officials did the bidding of communist China!

What does that tell us? It tells us that Fauci and other bureaucrats are a lot like arrogant NBA players. They’re quick to insult a president determined to put America first and they are quick to insult the American people. But they don’t want you to think badly about the communist Chinese.

That so many of our elites are so eager to trust genocidal communists is an outrage!

From our college campuses to corporate boardrooms, from the National Institutes of Health and the Biden White House, is there one institution in America that the communist Chinese haven’t infiltrated and compromised?

Curious Changes

In mid-May, the Department of Justice radically changed its website and erased significant amounts of content related to the sex trafficking of minors. Whole sections devoted to domestic and international sex trafficking of minors disappeared.

Here’s one section on the grooming of victims that was removed:

“After cultivating a relationship with the child and engendering a false sense of trust, the trafficker will begin engaging the child in prostitution, and use physical, emotional, and psychological abuse to keep the child trapped in a life of prostitution.

“It is common for traffickers to isolate victims by moving them far away from friends and family, altering their physical appearances, or continuously moving them to new locations. Victims are heavily conditioned to remain loyal to the trafficker and to distrust law enforcement.”

Kudos to Natalie Winters of the War Room for exposing these curious changes.

I’m sure if anyone asked the Biden Justice Department why these changes were made, they’d offer some lame excuse about making the site more efficient. Call me skeptical.

Let’s not forget the grooming that’s going on in our schools by the LGBTQ mafia and the Biden Administration, as well as the sex trafficking problem that Biden’s open border policies are enabling at the southern border.

The Trump Administration went to great lengths to ensure that adults coming across our border with children were in fact related to the children. Trump officials understood how children were being exploited. But Biden scrapped all those precautions and safeguards.

Why? The best possible spin is that they’re desperate to empty the detention centers as quickly as possible so the border crisis doesn’t look as bad as it is.

Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy ripped the Biden Administration for making the U.S. government “complicit in child sex trafficking and slavery.” Sadly, she’s right.

Defending Faith, Family & Freedom

A recent article about faith in America and its critical implications for our future grabbed my attention. Read more in my latest public policy update for the James Dobson Family Institute (JDFI).
