We Are The Frog

I got up this morning and I was angrier than ever, and you should be too! 

Joe Biden has unleashed the power of the FBI and our anti-terrorist laws to go after not jihadists, not communist Chinese spies, not organized crime or drug cartels, but moms and dads!

Worse, the FBI allowed itself to be used like this by Merrick Garland, who has proven himself to be a political hack, and by a president who appears to be auditioning to be the first Bolshevik in the Oval Office. Why aren't there mass resignations at the FBI?

When conservatives wanted the FBI to crack down on radical mosques, and there are plenty of them, we were called "Nazis." But the left doesn't hesitate to use these same anti-terrorist powers against American citizens. 

Four members of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission issued a public letter excoriating Attorney General Garland. They wrote:

"We have combed the internet for signs that parents petitioning school boards are anything approaching a national problem. Nearly all of what we have seen so far makes us proud to be Americans: Parents care about the education of their children, and they are not willing to allow them to be indoctrinated into a radical ideology."

Why didn't all eight members of the commission sign the letter? Because the other four are hard-core leftists eager to crush your liberty.

One outraged father was tackled by police at a Loudoun County, Virginia, school board meeting this summer when he wasn't allowed to speak. The local prosecutor tried to throw him in jail. The father was labeled a "fascist" on social media. His family was harassed. 

Why was he so upset? 

A boy who wore dresses went into the girls' bathroom and sodomized his daughter. The school board covered it up. And the father's arrest was used by Biden as an excuse to bring the full weight of the Justice Department down on the heads of parents. 

There should be overwhelming outrage by every American! 

We used to shake our heads when such outrageous tactics were used against political dissidents in the old Soviet Union or communist China today.  But now it's happening here in our own country. 

I'm sure you've heard of the proverbial frog that slowly boils to death without realizing it. That's us, friends. If you aren't worried about the direction our country is going right now, you're not paying attention.

After the Constitutional Convention in 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked what kind of government the delegates had created. He famously replied, "A Republic. If you can keep it." 

Well, our constitutional Republic is in danger. This is the time to run to the frontlines, including your local school board meetings. Our children are at risk!

Surprised Again

Communist China test-fired a hypersonic, nuclear-capable missile this summer. Hypersonic missiles are not defensive weapons, but first-strike weapons. They fly many times faster than the speed of sound and in the low atmosphere, enabling them to evade defense systems and providing little to no warning of an impending attack.

Even worse, it appears that the U.S. intelligence community was totally caught off guard. One defense expert told a British media outlet, "We have no idea how [communist China] did this." Others said they were "astounded" and stunned that Beijing was "far more advanced" than we realized.

Well, I'm shocked that our intelligence agencies keep getting shocked. We've heard this before. (Here and here.)

What do our intelligence agencies get paid for?  I know they recently arrested a leftist couple in Maryland on espionage charges. But they were surprised by the collapse of Afghanistan. And they were shocked by thousands of Haitians showing up on our southern border. 

Maybe they are too busy looking for right-wing extremists in the military. Did they take intelligence agents away from investigating communist China to spy on the local soccer league or school board meetings? Something is apparently distracting them.

Do we ever fire anyone from the intel community? 

When an FBI field agent was close to breaking up the 9/11 plot, he called the Washington headquarters but was told there was nothing to see. His arrogant superior refused to act on a bunch of Arabs learning to fly planes with no interest in taking off or landing. That superior was promoted after 9/11.

This has been going on for far too long. George W. Bush did not deal with it. John McCain and Mitt Romney would not have dealt with it. There was only one guy who tried to drain the swamp, and Donald Trump felt the swamp's full wrath when he tried to get the rot out. 

Christians Kidnapped

Over the weekend, 17 Christian missionaries were kidnapped by a criminal gang in Haiti that is known for kidnapping Christian aid workers for ransom. The group from Christian Aid Ministries included 16 Americans, including five children, and one Canadian.

Incredibly, a frontpage story in today's Washington Post goes on for five paragraphs before it even mentions the word "Christian." The article reads as though Christians were some kind of alien species. And perhaps they are to the liberal reporters at the Washington Post!

Sadly, kidnappings of foreigners are not uncommon in Haiti, and abductions are up dramatically in the past year.
