Iran Blinks
Facing a hard deadline and strong warnings from President Trump, the Islamic Republic of Iran blinked yesterday. They accepted a two-week ceasefire proposal from Pakistan. Crucially, the ceasefire deal called on Iran to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Over the course of the next 14 days, Pakistan will mediate negotiations between Iran and the United States for a final peace agreement.
