Criminal Referrals, Rosenstein Defends Barr, Targeting Kavanaugh

Criminal Referrals

The deep state is in deep trouble.  Attorney General William Barr said he believes there was spying on the Trump campaign and he wants to know how and why it happened.  Now he's getting some help from Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee.

Barr's Bombshell

During Senate testimony yesterday, Attorney General William Barr made a fairly obvious statement regarding the 2016 elections.  Here's what he said:

Conservatives Fight Back, Left-wing Extremism, Bibi Wins Again

She Said What?!

Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has created controversy recently for her anti-Semitic remarks, is back in the news, and you'll never believe what she said this time.  Okay, maybe you will.

Speaking at a fundraising dinner for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) last month, Omar said this:

Trump Bump, Israeli Elections, Islamist Plot Thwarted

Trump Bump

President Trump's approval rating now stands at 53%, according to the latest Rasmussen tracking poll.  That's the highest it has been since the early days of his administration, and it is up eight points since Special Counsel Robert Mueller found no evidence that the president colluded with Russia.

A Tougher Direction, Trump vs. Omar, Pence vs. The Left

"A Tougher Direction"

Once again, President Trump is acting like the tough CEO that he is.  Clearly frustrated by the crisis at the border, President Trump is shaking up the leadership at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Jobs Bounce Back, Selective Compassion, Chaos In The Courts

Jobs Bounce Back

The economy created 196,000 new jobs in March, beating expectations and tamping down fears of a recession.  The March report is a big improvement after February's disappointing numbers, which were also revised up.

Some economists got nervous about the state of the economy after February's weak showing, but it appears to have been a temporary blip.  The unemployment rate also held steady at a historically low 3.8%.

The Times Can't Let Go

The New York Times just can't let go of the collusion delusion.  It published a lengthy 1,400-word report last night desperately attempting to resuscitate the special council's probe of President Trump.

A CAT 5 Crisis, The Intolerant Left, A Breathtakingly Terrible Idea

A CAT 5 Crisis

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen discussed the border crisis with Tucker Carlson last night.  She did not mince words.

Referring to the fact that there are at least 10 million people in the country illegally about whom we know virtually nothing, Nielsen said this:

Battle For The Border, Left-wing Extremism, Pro-Life Promises Kept

Battle For The Border

America's sovereignty is under siege at the southern border.  As President Trump frequently -- and rightly -- says in his speeches, "If you don't have borders, you don't have a country."

Well, if sovereignty means anything, it must mean the ability to control your borders.  And it's pretty clear right now that we don't have control over the border.

Trump Takes Action

Last week we told you about the growing crisis at the southern border.  There are predictions that more than 1.5 million illegal immigrants will enter the United States this year.
