Media Bias Conservatives know that media bias is a fact of life. But I often fear that we underestimate just how much of an obstacle it really is. For example, liberal journalists routinely play word games with the latest economic data in order to make the administration look good. Consider this headline about today's figures: "Jobless Claims Total 333,000 vs. 337,000 Estimate." |

Planned Parenthood Under Investigation Responding to a request from more than 70 members of Congress, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) has announced that it is launching a formal investigation of Planned Parenthood and other left-wing outfits that promote abortion. The lawmakers want to know exactly how these organizations are using our tax dollars. |

A Big Crack In Benghazi Stonewall There has been a major new development in the "phony" Benghazi scandal, as President Obama calls it. Without the tenacity of Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA), the Benghazi scandal would likely have been forgotten long ago. But like a junk yard dog, Rep. Wolf has refused to let go of the story. His efforts were partially vindicated last night by the liberals at CNN. |

Scandal Update
Barack Obama may dismiss them as "phony," but the NSA and IRS scandals are back in the headlines. News broke yesterday that congressional investigators have discovered e-mails from the Federal Election Commission to Lois Lerner at the IRS inquiring about the tax status of several conservative organizations. |

Obamanomics Failing Middle Class Americans Continuing his series of economic speeches, President Obama spoke at an Amazon Fulfillment Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, yesterday. During his remarks Obama pitched his latest plan for a "grand bargain" on the economy -- corporate tax cuts, more infrastructure spending and the elimination of federal government spending cuts forced by sequestration. |

"No Jews Allowed" Efforts to restart stalled Middle East peace talks began yesterday at the State Department. Unfortunately, we already have seen two outrages, one from Barack Obama and one from Mahmoud Abbas. |

Obama Praises Ho Chi Minh Last week President Obama met with his Vietnamese counterpart, President Truong Tan Sang, at the White House. During a photo-op, Obama repeated the canard of the left that Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's notorious communist dictator, "was actually inspired by the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and the words of Thomas Jefferson." |

A Tale Of Two Deaths As we reported yesterday, President Obama lashed out at what he called "phony scandals" in Washington during a speech on the economy this week. The two big scandals in the news are the IRS/Tea Party scandal and the Benghazi cover-up. Patricia Smith was on Fox News yesterday, and she did not take Mr. Obama's remarks very well. You see, her son, Sean Smith, was killed during the attacks on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya. |

Is Obama Running On Empty? Since his reelection eight months ago, President Obama has been coasting, and it's showing. His approval ratings are down. His signature legislative accomplishment, Obamacare, is as unpopular as ever. Seeking to regain his footing ahead of some critical budget battles in the months ahead, Obama decided to give yet another speech on the economy. |

More Bad News For Obama This afternoon President Obama delivered yet another major address on the economy. According to one top White House advisor, today's speech was just the beginning of "a series of speeches" Obama will deliver over the next few weeks. |
