A New Watergate? Last month State Department whistleblower Aurelia Fedenisn came forward with serious allegations of misconduct by top officials. If the charges are true, they could be a huge embarrassment for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama. |
Independence Day Message |
Celebrating Independence Day Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays -- celebrating patriotism, our history and the tremendous courage, faith and sacrifices of our Founding Fathers. As the 237th birthday of America dawnstomorrow, millions will get together with friends and family for backyard barbeques, games and fireworks. By all means, enjoy the day! But please take a moment to remind your children and grandchildren about America's exceptionalism and the significance of Independence Day. |

The State Of Our Union As the country prepares to celebrate Independence Day, I'd like to take a look at the state of our union as measured through a series of recent polls. We just lost 19 of the finest people you'll ever meet," Prescott Fire Chief Dan Fraijo said yesterday. Our hearts go out to the families of these brave firefighters. It is a tragic reminder that on a daily basis first responders here at home are putting their lives on the line to help and protect us, just as our men and women in uniform do overseas. |

We MUST Keep Fighting! Based on the messages I have received, many of you (and especially our friends in California) seem tempted to give up. Some are asking, "Why should we bother anymore?" This may be shocking to you, but if we throw up our arms in frustration and surrender the public policy arena to the left, it will get a whole lot worse. We are headed toward the criminalization of Christianity. Let me explain. |

High Court Rules On Marriage Friends, we are still digesting the complex decisions handed down today by the Supreme Court regarding the Defense of Marriage Act and California's Proposition 8. At first glance it appears to be a split decision, but not as bad as many feared it would be. We will have a special report later this afternoon with more analysis.
