"Unprecedented" & "Indefensible" 

You know something is wrong when a liberal president is at odds with the liberal Washington Post. White House aides were undoubtedly reaching for the Maalox when they read today's lead editorial criticizing President Obama's executive amnesty on immigration as "unprecedented." 

But the Post's editorial board didn't stop there. It condemned the White House's deceptive sales pitch as "indefensible." Consider these excerpts: 
 

Hands Up, Truth Down 

It's now clear that the left has another symbol. In demonstrations across the country, protestors have engaged in the now ubiquitous gesture of putting their hands up. 

This comes from the original "eyewitness accounts" of how Michael Brown was supposedly "executed" by Officer Darren Wilson as Brown was on his knees with his hands up. 

Ferguson 

As you know, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch announced last night that the grand jury investigating the shooting death of Michael Brown found no cause to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson on any of five possible charges. We can say with certainty that there are people of all races who agree and disagree with this decision. 

Understanding Obama's Immigration Power-Grab

There is a lot I could say about President Obama's immigration speech last night. But instead of commenting broadly on the implications of Obama's unconstitutional executive amnesty, I've decided to highlight a few of the most egregious lies, half-truths and distortions that he fed the American people. 

Obama distortion: "For more than 200 years, our tradition of welcoming immigrants from around the world has given us a tremendous advantage over other nations."
