Obama Readies Sanctions -- On Israel?

Haaretz, a leading Israeli newspaper, is reporting that the Obama Administration is considering "punishing" Israel for constructing homes in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. Obama continues to insist that the construction activity, including in Jerusalem, threatens the "two-state solution."

Obama seems to see home construction for Israelis as a bigger threat to peace than missiles from Gaza.

"Unprecedented" & "Indefensible"

You know something is wrong when a liberal president is at odds with the liberal Washington Post. White House aides were undoubtedly reaching for the Maalox when they read today's lead editorial criticizing President Obama's executive amnesty on immigration as "unprecedented."

But the Post's editorial board didn't stop there. It condemned the White House's deceptive sales pitch as "indefensible." Consider these excerpts:

BREAKING NEWS: Seventeen states, led by Texas Governor-elect Greg Abbott, have filed a lawsuit in federal court challenging President Obama's executive amnesty for illegal immigrants.

World Votes Against Israel

Yesterday we witnessed two shameful diplomatic attacks against Israel that demonstrate the hatred and disdain it confronts every day.

The Left's False Narrative, Farrakhan's Threat, Boehner's Plan

Hands Up, Truth Down

It's now clear that the left has another symbol. In demonstrations across the country, protestors have engaged in the now ubiquitous gesture of putting their hands up.

This comes from the original "eyewitness accounts" of how Michael Brown was supposedly "executed" by Officer Darren Wilson as Brown was on his knees with his hands up.

Two Women In Ferguson

After last week's grand jury decision not to charge Officer Darren Wilson, protestors, including some criminals, again took to the streets of Ferguson, Missouri. Among those victimized by the latest round of riots was Natalie DuBose, owner of Natalie's Cake's & More.

Ferguson, Obama, The Grand Jury

Ferguson

As you know, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch announced last night that the grand jury investigating the shooting death of Michael Brown found no cause to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson on any of five possible charges. We can say with certainty that there are people of all races who agree and disagree with this decision.

No Deal

Today is the deadline set by western nations for reaching an agreement with Iran over its nuclear weapons programs. According to various reports, no deal was reached and negotiators will likely extend the talks for several more months. ABC News reported this morning that talks will resume in December and likely drag on until the summer.

Understanding Obama's Immigration Power-Grab

There is a lot I could say about President Obama's immigration speech last night. But instead of commenting broadly on the implications of Obama's unconstitutional executive amnesty, I've decided to highlight a few of the most egregious lies, half-truths and distortions that he fed the American people.

Obama distortion: "For more than 200 years, our tradition of welcoming immigrants from around the world has given us a tremendous advantage over other nations."

Obama's Amnesty Gamble

Washington is abuzz today with reports that President Obama will formally announce his executive amnesty tomorrow and promote it at an event Friday in Las Vegas. How appropriate since he is playing roulette with the rule of law.

As we wait for this firestorm to erupt, let me knock down the latest attempt by Obama to hijack Ronald Reagan's legacy.
